Is this bag airline approved?

Thanks for the question! No, DJANGO’s pet tote is not for airline travel since your dog can always poke his head out the front scoop. Unless your dog is a service animal, airlines require dogs to be fully enclosed in their pet carriers.

Question 2

Is the base of the bag hard/sturdy enough so my dog can sit or does it cave in when you lift the bag? Also can I wash it or is it spot clean only?

Thanks for your questions! The carry bag has a removable and very sturdy base which allows your dog to sit, stand, and lay down comfortably. The base of the bag will not cave or sink when you use the tote to carry your pup so long as you keep the sturdy base in place.

As for care instructions, the sturdy base is enclosed in a removable Sherpa zipper sleeve - this Sherpa sleeve is super comfy and machine washable. We recommend spot cleaning the waxed canvas exterior and interior 230T nylon lining (the 230T nylon lining is water-resistant which helps prevent water marks or other stains).

Would this bag fit a cockapoo?

Hello and thanks for the question! Our dog carry bag measures 14.5 inches in length and 12.5 inches in height and should work nicely for puppy, teacup, toy, and most miniature cockapoos that weigh up to 15-18lbs. I give a weight range because each cockapoo measures slightly differently - both back length and height are important measurements to consider so your pup is comfortable and not cramped :) A standard or “maxi” cockapoo will unfortunately be too large and tall for this pet tote. Hi, has anyone used this bag for an iggy? My girl is only 11lbs but she's taller (and a bit longer) than most bags accomodate...

Hello, and thanks for the question regarding your italian greyhound! Your pup's back length (from neck to base of tail) and withers height (floor to the highest points on your dog's shoulder blades) are the most important measurements to get right for DJANGO's dog carrier bag. Most 11lb dogs do really well in our size medium carrier which measures 14.5 inches L x 8 inches W x 12.5 inches H. With that said, I definitely recommend taking a few quick measurements of your girl to ensure her comfort. If your italian greyhound's withers height is greater than 12.5 inches, please know size large in our dog carry bag is also available (large measures 17.5 inches L x 8 inches W x 14.5 inches H).
