I've installed (4) EZ Shelf products. Some are better than others. The closet shelf installed/attached between two side walls is my favorite variation.Pros: High capacity; easy to install; relatively fast to install. Kudos to EZ Shelf for including a useful template.Cons: Very expensive for what you get. Low value per dollar. Wall anchors create large holes in your wall so don't plan on changing your mind later and uninstalling. The shelf isn't flat, even if level because of the design of the expandable rods. (Fine for sweaters. Less so for other things.)Installation advice: 1. A laser level makes installation easy. 2. The provided wall anchors are self-drilling. Drill pilot holes anyway. I suggest drilling a small pilot hole and then re-drilling the pilot hole with a 1/4-in. bit. This insures that the wall anchors will be positioned where you intend them. Without pilot holes it is a challenge to get the wall anchors lined up perfectly. 3. If you are installing more than one in a single closet, pay attention to the suggested shelf heights.Alternatives: This system is perfect for a coat closet. For a bedroom closet, a better alternative is IKEA's PAX system—if it fits. For almost the same price as a pair of EZ shelves, you can install a couple PAX units with no damage to walls and infinite adjustability as your needs change. I regret not making this choice for my son's room.Stay away from: The version of this shelf where one end is attached to a side wall and the other end is attached to a rear wall. The installation is a PITA. Very poorly thought out. A laser level does no good as there is no hole or mark on either the brackets themselves or the supplied templates that allows you to relate the position of one bracket to the other. The manufacturer's advice to pre-assemble (then presumably dis-assemble and re-assemble) is completely impractical.

The media could not be loaded. Honestly, these have been really helpful for organizing my closet. I was running out of space and these shelves gave me exactly what I needed. Super easy to put up - didn’t take long at all and the instructions were pretty clear.. The wall anchors they include are solid, no wobbling or anything like that. I’ve got comforters and blankets stacked on mine and they’re holding up great. Love that they don’t take up floor space but give me tons of storage..Bought two shelves back in 2024 and ordered these two this time around….they work so well. For the price, you really can’t go wrong. I definitely recommend it.

EZ shelf is one of the best closet shelf organizer I have used. This closet organizer saved me thousands of dollars comparing to having a company come in and design it for me. I bought multiple units and designed my own closet and was very satisfied. I ran into a small issue about a year later. I reached out to the owner and he didn’t hesitate to help and replaced the parts I needed. David was great and sent the parts in a timely manner. I really appreciate him honoring the warranty. This will be my go closet shelf organizer for all my closet needs. Good quality and easy to install.

I bought this shelving component for my mother who LOADS!!! up her shelf and hanging space. She loves the design and my brother was extremely impressed with the ease of installation!The original shipment was lost in transit but the great folks at EZShelf were on the ball and overly accommodating at getting a replacement out to us so also thrilled with personal service and speed of responsive from David and the whole teamHighly recommend the product and the company!!!
