There are three basic steps to using this ice maker: 1. Clean it. 2. Install It. 3. Power on!The actual installation is not complicated: Supply water, supply drain, supply power (receptacle). If you are installing it in your home and you are not experienced in plumbing or are not handy with tools, get someone to install it for you. Few things suck as much as water spraying all over your house. If you are handy with plumbing, it is a simple connection. Where you install it makes a difference in how fast it produces ice (i.e.: it will be faster in a climate controlled area vs. a garage.)The controls are not the most intuitive. You may want to make yourself a cheat sheet (it would have been nice if the manufacturer had included a label with this info to stick on the side). There are a lot of long-press, short-press and blinking or partial symbols on the screen that give great feedback if you know what you are looking at.It does have several good features such as telling you when it is producing ice, when the tank and ice bucket are full, etc. For the price, I have never found an ice maker that was this feature rich - there is even an LED light inside to help you see!

Smaller than I expected but works great so far. The supplied compression fitting are a little suspect but installed and seem to work correctly.

This ice maker does not get cold enough in its holding bin area to keep ice frozen ! It starts melting as it is making ice so all you end up with is a bin full of ice water. So you can't leave it hooked up as it just ends up half ice and half water ! needing to be drained out every couple of hours . I had it hooked up inside at 75 degrees temp . Evidently it can,t store the ice it makes !

Makes ice pretty fast , however does not keep iceIt starts to melt and does not drain fast enough . You end up with ice water and have to empty out by hand . I do not recommend buying it!!!

This ice maker was actually much smaller than I thought it would be - in the best possible way. Its not too big that you can't put it on your counter top or under your counter. Its not a giant thing for the average house. I love clean look of it and how much ice it holds. It holds more than you think it would and it produces ice very fast. I have never had it run out even at parties. I love the type of ice and how crunchy it is. It is easy to use, easy to clean and perfect for any house that like extra ice or needs an ice machine away from the kitchen. It would be perfect for a game room, bar area or man cave. Overall very impressed with the functionality.

This makes Ice fast, but like others have stated it does not have a freezer to hold. This is for someone who is going to go through the ice and not really need to hold it. We use it when we are having a lot of people over and it handles the ice need.

Item description specifically states this is for Outdoor use. The manual specifically states that this unit is not intended for Outdoor use. Unfortunately the shipping box was mistakenly already tossed. Have made previous comments on Amazon and have not heard back from either Amazon or Antarctic. This is deceptive advertising and clearly bait and switch. Do not buy if you are looking for an oudoor unit.

Small for a commercial ice machine but makes a lot of ice quickly, has to be hooked up to a 1/4” water line, nice and compact, perfect for the house even though it’s a commercial ice machine, runs quietly and has multiple settings for the hardness of your ice, great quality and price
