Perfect!
For years I’ve used a PetPowerMate head on my Kenmore 600 series vacuum and it does a fabulous job of removing cat hair from upholstery. However, over the last few months it started getting noisy and the brush would often stop rotating on any fabric which wasn’t totally taut. I assumed that the little rubber belt (which rotates the brush) had succumbed to age, so I ordered this replacement belt. Installation was super easy, just 3 screws to open the power head, remove the old belt, put the new belt in place, reinstall the 3 screws, done. Maybe 10 minutes max. Oh and since the power head was open anyway, I sprayed a shot of lubricant on each roller end of the brush. I’m happy to say that now my PetPowerMate is quiet and performing like new again. This replacement belt is a bit pricey, but I give it an “A”, anyway. It does exactly what I hoped it would do.

Fixed my Pet Power Mate
This belt is a good replacement belt for the handheld Pet Power Mate that comes with the Kenmore 600 series canister vacuum. The powermate beater-bar was spinning intermittently. The old belt was stretched out. The new belt makes the powermate run like new.

Looks smaller, but does fit
This belt was both a smaller diameter and thinner, narrower material than the original broken belt, but it did fit, and the brush now turns just fine. I suspect it's not actually OEM, but a near match from some other line. I can see my old belt having stretched some, but it is both wider and thicker than this one, and stretching would have had the opposite effect.

Perfect Replacement!
It's very satisfying to repair something instead of throwing it away!When replacing this belt be sure to lubricate the end bearings on the beater brush with a light oil. Clean the brush and remove all hair or other debris tangled on it, especially at either end.

Doesn’t look right but it is
My old belt was so stretched out that I thought I was sent the wrong item. It went on tight but worked perfectly. I can now vacuum cat hair to my world’s content.
