Excellent investment in health
I'm happy with my recently purchased the PAETA Pilates Reformer (91" Foldable model). As someone who has not been practiced Pilates before, I was looking for a reformer that would provide a workout at home and the convenience of being space-saving. Pros: Foldable Design – One of the standout features for me is how easily the reformer folds for storage. My home gym space is limited, and the ability to fold it up when not in use is a game-changer. Adjustable Heights – The reformer’s adjustable height settings allow for a customizable workout. This is perfect for different exercises and users with varying preferences or body types. Sturdy Build and Piano Wire Springs – The quality of the materials is immediately evident. The piano wire springs provide excellent resistance and a smooth feel during every movement. I appreciate how durable and reliable the springs feel, giving me confidence during each session. Jump Board – The inclusion of a jump board adds an extra dimension to my workouts. It allows for high-intensity, cardio-style training that adds variety and challenge to my routine. Comfortable & Quiet – The padding on the machine is soft but firm enough for proper support during exercises. It’s also surprisingly quiet compared to other reformers I’ve used, which is great for working out without disturbing others in the house. Smooth, Easy Assembly – Setup was straightforward, and I was able to start using it in no time. All parts were well-packaged, and the instructions were clear. Cons: Size – At 91 inches, this is a pretty large piece of equipment, so while it folds for storage, you still need to have a decent amount of space to use it comfortably. Overall: It’s well-built, adjustable, and offers a variety of features.

Solid Machine for Price Point.
Not totally quite a full 4/5 stars but I rounded up rather than down because overall it’s a good looking, sturdy machine, with a decent price point. Assembly: Mines came with instructions and was fairly easy to assemble. It folds up nicely with Velcro straps to secure it. If you are planning on using the stand, it can get tricky because the machine itself is not light. The stand is 7 parts that you put together before laying the reformer on top of. I’ve placed the reformer on top of the stand by myself but no don’t recommend it. It’s a 2 person job. With the stand, I find it at a good height. Bags are provided for storing the parts for the stand when it’s not in use, but the bag they gave for the long sides only fits 3/4 metal sticks… The risers on the back are on the basic/cheaper end, I need to check them before each use to ensure they are tighten properly. It flew off once while I was using it, but I think it could also be that I hadn’t ensure it was tight enough. I like that there are front and back platforms and am open to purchasing extenders for them if there was an option for it. Use: I have used this machine for 2 months before reviewing. Yes some of the springs can get loud but occasionally after I adjust them, the sound corrects themselves. At the beginning, the machine was super smooth, but more recently it started making a scraping sound when I use the carriage (like nails on a chalkboard) not pleasant and it is driving me insane. The sound comes and goes but it is very annoying. Both my husband and I have spent way too much time searching for the issue but can’t seem to fix it. I will probably reach out to the manufacturer at some point. I am personally happy I bought this reformer. I like the look and feel of it. With the prices that the studios in my area charges, I feel like I’ll get my monies worth from the machine purchase within a few months. As someone who went to class 6 days a week/2 times a day before kids, I like that I now have the flexibility of jumping on whatever I want, in the comfort of my own home. It sucks that I have to create my own lesson plans, but the internet and social media is full of inspiration. The kids love their mommy and me Pilates time, but being able to fold it up to safely store it away from those little hands is a huge plus. It doesn’t have all the bells and whistles of a fancy expensive reformer, but at its core, it has everything I need to get in a good workout. I just hope to figure out the kinks. Update: their support team is 10/10 amazing. Quick reply and solution. So they get an additional star.

Glad I gambled on this purchase!!!!
Honestly I spent hours researching an affordable Pilates machine that was decent & spring based and I am SO glad I got this one. The few reviews made me nervous at first but I have no regrets. I’m no Pilates snob but this machine definitely exceeded expectations for the price (I have taken a few classes). The metal is great quality & sturdy, acceptable amount of cushioning, and the carriage glides really smoothly. There is minimal noise with the springs- there will always be some type of noise when using springs in this sense. I haven’t used the footbar much and perhaps it’s not as sturdy in all the positioning but it hasn’t been a hindrance. It comes with raised platform that allows you to incorporate more exercises. I don’t store mine away but it doesn’t seem like too much work given the size of the machine. It was easy to put together- took maybe 20-30 minutes. Surprisingly customer service has been very responsive and helpful. I had a scrapping issue with my reformer during use, they responded to me with troubleshooting suggestions. Ultimately I wasn’t able to troubleshoot the issue so they are issuing me a new reformer so I’m definitely a happy customer and recommend this product/brand so far!

Worth It!
Took away a star due to a couple of issues right out of the box (that was disappointing), but they worked with me to make them right. Easy to setup with someone to lift it onto the risers with you. I’m 5’8 and this 91” is plenty tall enough. It’s super quiet and seems well constructed. I used to go to Club Pilates and the new house distance and $$ didn’t make sense for me anymore. I’m very happy with the functionality of it and quality of the springs. The height and headrest adjustability were the cherry on top!

Bye Bye club fees.
No more club fees for me! This reformer is well made. Quality materials. Arrived in box with damage but manufacturer packing kept the reformer from damage. If you know the workings of pilates reformer you will have no troubles with set up. Clean look. Rollers are in line skate type. Smooth movement along rail of reformer. No grove to get pinched or fill with dirt making for a jerky ride. Very pleased. Performs as CP reformers do. Worth the investment. Happy about the ability to work out on my schedule.

quality equipment final set up step will require 30 seconds of help.
I have taken a couple Pilates classes, as a teacher they’re a little bit outside of my budget. I just had a hysterectomy, and I wanted some gentle exercise at home. It came faster than I thought—within a week, I think. I was able to walk the box to my exercise area. The machine itself it just had to be unfolded. It took me about 45 minutes to get all the pieces on and the plastic off. The final step is to place the assembled machine on top of the stand that lifted off the ground. That was the only part I could not do by myself. Thankfully, my son is home from college so he came home from work and stopped partying for 30 seconds to help. I don’t think you’d be able to do that yourself because it has to be lifted, and placed over the stands. You wouldn’t be able to do one side than the other. I am not OCD or type A about noises so none of that bothered me. I noticed the red springs are a little bit louder. No big deal. I am having a great time watching YouTube videos and using the reformer. I have done some arms and bum videos and they felt really effective. Thankfully my students and their parents gave me a gift cards so it made the reformer more affordable. It feels really sturdy. It is a good investment. One again those lovely families took care of me. If you are someone who really has to be mindful of how they spend their gift/money, this is a safe piece of exercise equipment.

5 years of studio Pilates — why did I wait so long?
First, let me be clear: I bought this PAETA reformer myself. Full price, normal Amazon customer, no free product, no compensation, no incentive. I’m writing this because I spent YEARS putting home reformers in my cart worrying they’d feel so cheap pared to studio machines. It was delivered earlier than expected and I was emotional the second I opened the box. It’s gorgeous. I ordered the 86-inch foldable PAETA in walnut. SIZE— I’m 5’0”, and the 86” size works extremely well for me. I can do a proper workout comfortably and it absolutely feels substantial enough for home training. I do occasionally notice the available travel/space during very long stretches, so if you are tall, I would consider one of the 90”+ models. THE SPRINGS — THIS WAS IMPORTANT TO ME One of my biggest concerns with inexpensive home reformers was resistance. This has five actual springs—the main reason I chose it over an AeroPilates-style cord machine. If you already practice Pilates and want something that feels closer to a traditional reformer, choose springs over cords! Some reviewers mentioned spring noise. So far, I hear no noise from the springs. The carriage movement is surprisingly quiet and smooth. QUALITY & DETAILS The straps are seatbelt-like with a very soft microfiber lining—not as comfortable as commercial studio reformer but enough for a session. The pulleys are plastic, but they feel sturdy so far. The adjustable components feel solid and functional, and the reformer sits securely on its base. There is a textured grip material applied to the wood foot platform. The rubber stoppers are relatively minimal, but with the weight of the reformer they have been completely adequate so far. ASSEMBLY & STORAGE The base uses simple ring-style locking pins, which makes assembly and disassembly much less intimidating than I expected. The reformer is secure on the base but isn’t permanently attached to it. With two people, you could remove it and place it directly on the floor if you wanted to experiment with certain exercises closer to ground level. It also comes with a black nylon storage bag with a handle for the disassembled base/accessories—basically a little reformer duffel—which was a generous addition. Packaging was another pleasant surprise. My box arrived clean and undamaged, and everything inside was tidy, protected and completely intact. No drama, no mystery broken pieces. I have not experienced the same plastic issue as others in previous reviews so I am sure this was a correction made. Mine was slipped into bubble-wrap as pictured. WHAT I WOULD CHANGE Three things keep this from being absolutely perfect for me: 1. The jump board. It is padded and completely functional, but I would have loved a more trampoline-like rebound. AeroPilates does this particularly well. This one is more of a traditional padded jump board than a mini trampoline—bit of a hindrance for some routines. 2. I wish it included a platform/extender to fill the carriage area when the reformer is opened and the springs are disengaged. That would make certain stretches, warm-ups and floor-style movements. 3. PAETA should offer replacement parts on their Amazon shop—this will add some confidence. Springs, straps, foot-bar wrap, pulley, extender board, etc. OH—and don’t hesitate…just get the box on the same order. I regret not ordering it! Order one! 🧘🏼♀️

The machine came mostly assembled, requiring minimal effort to complete the setup process. Detailed instructions were included, making it easy to follow along without needing assistance. The entire setup took approximately 20 minutes, which is reasonable for a comprehensive piece of fitness equipment. The foot bar adjusts effortlessly, and the shoulder rests are comfortable and supportive. The carriage moves smoothly, providing a seamless experience during workouts. The adjustable foot bar accommodates various heights and exercise needs, enhancing the overall user experience. Size: The machine's dimensions are one of the reasons I purchased it since the added length allow for a wider range of exercises. The machine remains stable during dynamic exercises, allowing for safe and effective workouts. Good Value Investment: The Paeta Pilates Reformer a valuable investment for those serious about their fitness journey. It saves hundreds vs. The cost of classes and time spent driving to a studio. Outstanding Customer Support: One of the standout aspects of my experience with the Paeta Pilates Reformer has been the exceptional customer support.
