I just couldn't get used to the taste. I'll try again someday. I love copper; I work with copper (I make metal jewelry), I take a copper supplement (I can taste it even as a capsule, but it's quick). I know copper helps my Fibromyalgia symptoms, so I want to try again. As for the cup; it is built well, and is pretty! Of course it tarnishes; it's copper; that's what it does folks.

These are lovely bottles. I ordered two. They didn't very very easily because they're thin copper. There's no insulation so the liquid turns the temperature of wherever it's at very quickly. Great for chilling water in the refrigerator.

I couldn't figure out why my cold tea tasted so bad. It just got worse and worse as I was working outside (under our big tree in the shade). I looked inside and didn't see it at first but then, up under the curve of the bottle, close to the opening, there was a thumb print sized green spot rusting away into my drink. Why did it taste bad? I was drinking huge amounts of copper :( Felt rather sick too. It was only ginseng, not like it was lemon or something corrosive.

I have found copper products to be a benefit to my health. The first one I purchased had a bad rubber around the top and it leaked and Amazon sent me a new bottle free or the seller did I don’t know which.

It didn’t last long fill3d with water, till the copper taste entered the water.

Create a nice seal so it's leak proof, easy to clean easy to use. Great Taste and quality definitely worth the money.

This is great bottles! I read that there was sometimes a mineral taste to the water; however, I haven't noticed anything. I like the fact that this bottle isn't super huge. Easy to carry, but still hols plenty of water!

This is a beautiful item. I decided on this one for the design and the size, both were exactly what I wanted. This particular item didn't have any reviews, but I have read the reviews on many others. The general issues seem to be; difficulty fastening the lids and residue on the bottles when new. This one had both, but it's the way these bottles are. The bottle did have some residue in it when I unpacked it. The seller included a packet of cleaner (unexpected bonus). However, I just used a bit of lemon juice and sea salt, gave it a good shake around, rinsed with soap and water, then rinsed with clear water. It took absolutely no time to get perfectly spotless copper. I added the water, left it overnight, the water was excellent the next morning. I've refilled it several times and the copper is still gleaming. I will clean it every couple of weeks to keep it that way. As far as the lid goes, because it is metal, the threads are thick. It will cross thread very easily, if you're not careful. There is a spot where the lid threads perfectly. Find that spot and put a tiny dot on the lid and a tiny dot on the bottle with a Sharpie to line them up. Find the two dots, cross threading won't be a problem. I would definitely buy this again!

This is the best copper water bottle at this price range. It has right weight. Water test with this water bottle is good and cleanThe water tastes good and clean. And thanks to seller to provide me about it's cleaning and container effective tips.

This is not an insulated water bottle so if using ice it melts very quickly otherwise a good affordable bottle.
