Works fine, just as described.
It's smaller than I expected, which is not a problem. Because it is so small and light I had to Velcro it to a table top, otherwise the cables would pull it off. I'm not sure whether or not the remote works as I'm only switching between two video sources, and the button the unit seems more convenient to use. No problems with audio or video quality.

So far worth the price.
So far a decent product and good price. Easy to hook up. Works very well. It’s nice having only one optical out to be able to use my sound bar with many different inputs. Looks very nice. Only complaint is the remote has to be lined up well with the product sensor. It also takes two button pushes most of the time to get it to do what you want it too. More of an annoyance than a deal breaker.

Decent support
I use this to plug four HDMI devices (PS4, Xbox, Apple TV, etc.) into the switch, which splits out the video signal and sends that to my older TV (2009 Westinghouse) via HDMI and separately sends the audio to my Sonos Playbase via optical audio cable. It works as expected and the audio/picture quality is good; there is no degradation or issues there as far as I can tell. The unit did stop working after five months. Obviously, that is not desirable. The only option I could find to contact their customer support was via the Amazon website. Which I must say was a very clunky interface for doing that and it was hard to locate the correct option and difficult to navigate. Once you figure out how to do this, it lets you send an email to the merchant. Their reply arrived in my email inbox. You would think that to reply to that email you could send your reply like a normal email. There were no instructions in the email that would indicate otherwise. However, it seems that they won't get the response if you send it that way. I figured out that you have to go back to Amazon.com and jump through all the navigational hoops again and send your reply from the webform. Amazon really needs to provide a better method for contacting their merchants.Anyway, once I was able to communicate with the merchant, they needed some basic info from me and then sent me a free replacement right away. So that part was good. The replacement looks like it might be an updated model, so hopefully this unit will be free of whatever flaw caused my first unit to fail. I'd like this thing to keep working for years to come.

4K*2K HDMI Switch
I cannot afford a new tv, so after some research, this component came to my attention. My 50" tv is 2011 year HD 1080p. My tv has an antenna for reception with 4K and 400 mile range. On the 4K switch there are four HDMI Ports that can be connected to audio and video components. There is one HDMI cable port tv connection out and one audio connection (Optical cable I Provided not included) to the tv. I hooked up a Roku, Bluray player & VHS using Highspeed HD cables. The audio hooked straight into the tv. Those with soundbars can hook up to them instead. I do not play video games, but that can be hooked up too. With the exception of VHS, the tv picture is sharper and colors are more vivid. To my estimation, this unit has met my expectations. I spent less than $70 for a combination on all hookup cables and the HDMI switch (obviously less than cost of 4K tv replacement). A booklet was included with pictures and everything was connected, plugged in and powered up under 30 minutes. A remote is included but I just use my TV remote and that works the same way. The unit itself is so small it fits neatly tucked away on the tv stand. Easy to use, great alternative for those on a budget, and satisfying my goal of much better tv picture. Thanks y'all.

Died after 2 months
Worked GREAT for 2 months, picture quality perfect, easy to use.But then it inexplicably stopped working. It got stuck switching between channels 1 and 4, and powering off and on again didn't change anything (nor did powering off and on the devices on channels 1 and 4). There was NO HDMI output whatsoever, not channel 1 not channel 4 not black screen, nothing. It wasn't a cable problem because I bypassed the HDMI switch and got a picture no problem. These HDMI switches are expensive, so you would think they would make them more reliable. What a waste of money. I'm better off switching cables by hand, or buying an HDTV with several HDMI inputs. In looking at the reviews I'm apparently not the only one whose HDMI switch has died after a short life.

Works til it doesn't.
Junk power supply will likely die. Older hdcp 1.4. seems fine til the power quits then it makes buzzing sounds and lights jump around, no picture. No dolby vision, no atmos pass through.

Works very well until it died
Had this for almost a year and worked perfectly until it stopped working correctly.Would loose video signal while audio continued to play, even after swapping hdmi cables.Would also flash purple alot towards the end of its life.
