As a first time home theater enthusiast that wanted to stay within a decent budget, this was PERFECT. Fit and Finish: 10/10- the trim pieces were perfectly fitted to the enclosure. The posts, and speakers were perfectly fitted. I couldn’t find a spot where there were any large gaps. The vinyl wrap was also pristine. Construction: 9/10- The craftsmanship was near perfect. I could not find any issue with the enclosure build. The front corners are properly mitered and there is no gap. Materials: 7/10- The enclosure is made out of proper MDF. The internal bracing and enclosure were properly fastened. There were good signs of glue squeeze out so the construction is very solid. The main con is the inadequate crossover. Sound: 6/10(Stock), 9/10 (upgraded) The stock crossover is more of a limiter. Once you remove it and add a better crossover, the difference is clear. This speaker performs similarly to much more expensive tower speakers. Thanks to the previous reviews suggesting to add a crossover, I was able to add a two way crossover and also added more padding. Modifications: The speaker does have a crossover but it was very cheap/ in adequate. I added a dedicated 2 way crossover which made a HUGE difference. This modification was night and day. This speaker now performs like a $1000 speaker. Tips: -Remove the speaker post, the 8 inch speaker trim pieces(yes you can remove the bass speakers). Once you remove the trim piece, you can remove the bass speakers. -You will need additional wire to properly add the crossover. -Add additional foam padding inside while it is open.This will aid with the resonance. The factory foam is relatively fluffy compared to a proper sound foam. -Remove the factory crossover!!! It is by the tweeter. -The wires inside a 16 gauge. Overall, this speaker is a STEAL. This is a great way to get your feet wet in the home theater scene and the DIY speaker build. If anything, this is a great starter kit to learn how to DIY. 9/10. Vevor knocked it out the park. Get it while it last.

Sound quality is smooth. No complaints. This is exactly what I was looking for in a speaker. Bass and treble is well balanced. Handles both smoothly. Pleasantly surprised at the high level of quality. Good speakers. I highly recommend getting these speakers for your listening pleasure

These speakers are cheap! As a result they sound cheap! With these speakers, you get EXACTLY what you pay for. Don't fall for the whole "audiophile quality at an affordable price" BS. These speakers are awful. I sent mine back.

What an amazing deal for the price I paid. I mean, these guys outperform my Polk Audio T50s with huge bass frequencies, although the sound is on par with more expensive Tower Speakers of the same dimensions. I do make a Suggestion, though, if you were to purchase these, there is no Crossover. The two 4 ohm woofers were wired in Series to achieve 8ohms load. And so I bought 2 Crossover boards for like $20. And didn't take much to install. And now they sound even more amazing. The biggest task was how to mount the crossovers in the Speaker Cabinet.
