As a small business owner, this is my go-to paper when I need to send a document that communicates "this is serious." It’s definitely overkill for daily copy needs (20lb) and a step up from my standard 24lb daily driver, but it hits the perfect sweet spot between standard printer paper and heavy cardstock. The quality and thickness are top-notch—it's smooth, sturdy, and totally opaque, so ink doesn't bleed through. It holds up durably to folding and mailing without tearing, and it holds ink cleanly without smudging. Plus, at 28lb, it was the best value for money I could find for a full 500-sheet ream after a quick search. If you want to make an impressive, high-end statement on a budget, you can't beat this ream.

I'm very happy with this paper. When I'm printing documents for clients I like to use better quality paper than the plain/cheap, and this is perfect! Colors print nicer and overall it has a nice feel.

I love this paper. It is so good, and it's usually not that expensive. Sometimes it's a bit pricey. My ultimate favorite is HP's 32 gsm printer paper, and sometimes it's pretty much the same price, but I usually can get this paper for anywhere from $14 to $18. I also use the orange one, which I believe is 24 gsm or pounds, whatever it's called. It's very good, but if you're going to mail out a lot of papers in one envelope, it's going to be too thick. But it's very good quality. I love this brand. It prints well. It works with any printer. The fit is perfect. You could even use it for writing. That's how nice and thick it is, especially with a gel point pen. Occasionally, I will get a jam because I'll put too much paper, so that's more my error, not their error. But I really recommend it.

Hammermill's Premium Color 28 lb paper is outstanding - easily some of the best quality paper I’ve used. The weight feels luxurious without being too thick for everyday printing. Colors really pop on this paper, and text prints crisp and sharp. It feeds smoothly through my printer with zero jams or smudges, even on high-volume jobs. Whether I’m printing photos, charts, or important documents, the results look consistently professional. If you want a noticeable upgrade from standard copy paper, this is absolutely worth it. It works in my Canon color MF perfectly and is compatible with all laser printers.

Hammermill is known for making quality paper, and they have certainly done a fine job with this color copier/laser paper. The 28-lb. weight and ultra-smooth surface give this paper a very professional feel. When compared to regular 20-lb. copy paper, there is no comparison. While the regular copy paper feels somewhat rough, when running your fingers or hand over it, this Hammermill 10246-7 premium paper feels silky smooth. It makes for the perfect surface for a color laser printer or color copier, and greatly reduces the problems associated with paper dust. I only have two minor complaints with this paper. First of all, Hammermill now claims to have improved this paper, giving it a "100" brightness rating. When I compare it to some HP manufactured 28-lb. laser paper, with only a "98" brightness rating, the HP paper is noticeably brighter. How can this be? 100 should definitely be brighter than 98. Well somehow Hammermill found a way to slip a 100 brightness rating onto a paper that looks to be more like a 96 brightness. I also found, after switching from the comparable HP 28-lb. paper to the Hammermill brand, that I have some spots that the toner doesn't adhere to well. I want to point out, this is usually only on the first page that I print, when the printer has just previously been in power save (sleep) mode. I assume the fuser just doesn't get hot enough for the toner to uniformly bond to the first page. However, I never had this problem with the HP paper, so I feel it could have something to do with the surface properties of the paper itself. Still, I don't blame this issue on Hammermill. This is very good paper, and I got it a couple of bucks cheaper, per ream, than the HP brand. Overall I am very happy with the Hammermill 10246-7 28-lb. color copier/laser paper, and I highly recommend it.

Great quality! This Letter-sized paper is nice and thick, giving it a very premium feel. I used it to print important documents that required heavy ink stamping, and the result was excellent. There was no bleeding or smudging at all. Highly recommended!

I rarely print anything, but when I do there's a good chance it involves some kind of picture. I needed something that would handle my printer needs and would also play nicely with my fountain pens and shading and glitter inks. This stuff does everything I ask of it. Prints nicely, my printer doesn't have any complaints. And most importantly for me, it works beautifully for my fountain pens and special effects inks. Highly recommend. Especially since the price is significantly less than fountain pen specific paper.

I’ve used HP Premium 28lb paper for a few years for printing things that matter, and I’ve always been satisfied with the results. I also use 32lb paper when I want to make an impact or have something that feels nice to hold. However, this 28lb paper from Hammermill… it’s very nice! I can only describe the feel of the pages as silky smooth. Almost like plastic, it’s so smooth. I love the feeling it gives my fingers as I flip through printed pages. However, it’s sold as 100 bright white, and I don’t believe it is fully 100. It does have a very light “ivory” tinge to it, compared to my HP Premium paper that is also 100 bright white. It is nicer feeling though. And to me, that matters a bit more. And it’s available unlike the HP paper, which is constantly out of stock. It runs smoothly through my Xerox Phased dye sublimation printer, and my HP laser printer. Text jumps off the page. And your fingers can feel the raised ink and toner of the print, which adds a tactile feel. Highly recommend.

Good for alcohol markers, they blend very well and the paper is so smooth

La hoja es muy muy bonita, pero para inyeccion de tinta con una hp 8210 no me convencio el resultado. Quiza para una laser a color si.
