A great product with incredible customer service!
A great product with incredible customer service! I was excited when I found the Airdual to add Bluetooth streaming to my 2008 BMW 535i. When it arrived and I plugged it in there was no power getting to my device. I called the customer service number on the packaging and not only did they help ensure everything thing was connected properly, but they helped figure out how to get power to the device. Justin, the customer service rep, spoke to his engineers and they designed a device that I could plug into a usb charger (it’s the green plug in the picture). The company sent it to me free of charge along with a charging cable to plug it in. It arrived 3 days later, plugged right in and my Bluetooth streaming is working like a charm. Everything is in my glovebox, so when I get in and start the car my phone automatically connects and I’m listening to great sounding music via Bluetooth. The car interface reads the music off my phone and the steering wheel buttons all work. In case you can’t tell I’m very happy with this product and even more happy with the customer service I received. I would definitely recommend this product and this company. Thanks Justin!

Working amazingly on Infiniti EX35
I've been using an aux connected bluetooth receiver for a long time on my previous car. When I got this one, I got another one (sold my car with that previous one) and was "happy", but I did wanted to have steering wheel controls. I almost got the other one that looks exactly like this one but it is a bit more expensive (I don't know if I can name it here or not, and I don't want to look like a boovine -- ;) -- for writing it here) but then I read that this one is supposed to send track info from android devices as well. I wasn't so sure, since the other one is "supposedly" from a more trusted brand, but decided to bit the bullent and went with this one. I'm so freaking glad I did that!!! Plugged it in, connected my android phone, hit the play icon and VOILA!!!! Track info on my car's screen! Working steering wheel controls, of course, and I can definitely assure you that the audio quality is a lot better than playing through the AUX input. I was actually trying to find some 1" 2-ohm tweeters to replace the ones on my car (and, thankfully those things are hard to come by, else I'd have ordered them), thinking that was the source of the lack of treble.... WRONG!!!! I can DEFINITELY hear the high hats now, the way they are supposed to sound! Really enjoying the audio clarity and quality now! I did have to use the power injector, and for whatever reason the one I got is more than double the price that what was paid by the guys who wrote the original article that showed how to connect this on an Infiniti EX, but I'd say that it's worth it. Since I plan on hiding EVERYTHING under the center console, I'd rather have a tested and confirmed-to-be-good power injector than a flimsy one that might fail, making me disassemble the whole center console again. All in all, AMAZING audio quality, track information displayed from an Android device, steering wheel (and radio, obviously) controls.... This breathed some needed new life into my car's sound system. I was even considering getting some of those Android boxes that gives you Android Auto and Car Play, and upgrade the screen to an HD one, without losing the original radio / amp / Bluetooth for the phone (and having my nav available on my screen rather than using the phone could be a selling factor) but for now, I'm so happy with this adapter that I might not want to do that. So, to summarize... don't overthink it, GET IT NOW!

Works pretty good, a few minor annoyances
This works pretty well. Super easy to install, just plugged into the 30-pin connector in the glovebox of my 2009 Audi A4, paired it via Bluetooth and started listening to music! Sound quality is good, it plays from the iOS Music app and from Spotify with no issues. Sometimes it won't display the song correctly on the car's screen, but I'm not sure if that's a problem with the adapter or the car's audio system. My major gripe with this is even when my car is turned off, my phone will switch it's BT connection to this device. I've had several times where I've had my BT headphones in and suddenly lose my music when I get near my car, since it switched the audio to the car. I don't get this, if my car is off there should be NO power going to the adapter and it shouldn't connect until I turn my car on. I've had to start "forgetting" the adapter on my phone so it won't auto switch. Like I said, minor annoyance but probably a suggestion for the manufacturer for future versions, have a way for this thing to completely turn off when the car is off.

Works great with aftermarket Alpine CDA-9857
I have an old Alpine CDA-9857 (ca. 2007) with a 30-pin iPod connector and a lightning adapter for my iPhone 8. This unit replaced that setup, which was prone to falling out on rough roads. Installation was easy. This adapter has a slide switch for "iPod / Apple Music" mode. I set it to that and installed on the cable. Powered up, paired with my iPhone, and set the head unit source to iPod. Came right up and reconnected on a multi-errand trip in and out of the car. Output level is a little low compared to the hard wire, but is otherwise just fine - sounds great.

The Airdual Solved the interface problem
Why the 2010 Nissan Murano won't stream music from my phone is a baffling. Phone works thru the sound system but play music Ha! The Airdual solved the problem. Almost plug and play. When I first plugged it in the unit had no power. I heard that this might be the case so I contacted customer service and received a reply within hours. I was given the information that I needed in the first email. Then received a follow up email to see if I was happy with the results. YES! The product is spot on and works great and the customer service is top notch. I highly recommend this product

God bless and finally! Over the years with various software and hardware up grades, music from my IPod now iPhone would no longer work through my car stereo. My summer car is a 2005 BMW Z4 (e85) with no nav/music display. BMW originally offered a 30 pin adapter that worked well. An additional adaptor was added when Iphones went to lighting connections. It continued to work well until software upgrades wiped out all the fun of driving to great music and relying on radio/CD After changing to an aftermarket wiring harness which incorporated a blue tooth donegal which didn’t work, I was at wits end. Thankfully this Invery 30 pin adapter on the original wiring set up works and gives me bluetooth musicenjoyment from my Iphone. Despite the description not including BMW, it works fabulously for my purposes. my Iphone music would not

Used on a 2008 Audi A4 Connect directly the old-style iPod connecter in the glove box. Connect your phone to it via Bluetooth. Done! Simple 30 seconds plug in install. The car thinks your phone is a connected iPod, all dashbord music player features are available. Magic! Worth every penny.

It worked out of the box. In the instrument panel I see "Next" and "Prev" with the title of the track. It would be better to see only the title of the track. It works with spotify, I haven't been able to use it with other programs. My car is MB209.
