These are Birkenstock’s cross strap inspired.The sole is pretty comfortable, similar to my authentic Birkis, and the material of the cross straps are similar to the Birki vegan collection. To be clear, the uppers are NOT LEATHER but a polyurethane (PU), but the brown soles are. The description in the listing does state that the cross straps are PU, but it is not clear. I would say that the fit is about half a size small. I am a true size 6.5, and the 7 fits perfect and snugly. I do prefer my Birkis to fit just at the heel, so it’s up to you if you would like more space. If you don’t want the traditional snug Birki fit, size up 1 whole size. Since I do have wide chubby feet, the top cross did rub up a bit on my big toe. However, I do expect these to break in a little bit within a week or two. I do find these a great value for the fit & style.Now for the bad:The first pair I received had mold spots which was unacceptable and gross. The replacement pair came in just fine so that was reassuring. I am not taking a star off for this alone. The cons of this sandal is that the sizing is off, the listing is not clear about the PU upper straps, and the quality control was concerning. Other than that, I say go for it. &If you can afford to be bothered with returns, I recommend you order 2 sizes and send one back.

Quality of the shoe and price is awesome. However these are not true to size. I ordered an 11 and they fit like a size 9. Totally wanted to customize them for my birthday. Returned the item the same day they arrived. Off to find a new idea.

I purchased these sandals for my mom. She asked me to purchase a pair of sandals that are comfortable, wouldn’t squeeze her feet, did not go between her toes, did not have buckles because the ones she saw looked mannish, did not have a high heel but were not flat like a flip flop. She wears a size 9 wide. I checked the reviews and ordered a size 10 since 9 wide was not available. They came while we were at a birthday party for my aunt and she took the sandals she was wearing off, looked at them and told me she does not wear a 10. Asked her to still try them on which she did and I don’t think she’s taken them off since. She just keeps saying they are so comfortable. She’s happy so am happy.

Ordered a 9.5 Wide and it isn’t. Let me just say that if you have a wide foot these shoes won’t work especially if you have bunions. I wore them the first time today and my feet are so sore with blisters. I purchased this shoe as a comfort shoe. I wear comfort sandals (Birkenstock’s) a lot and these have a softer and more flexible footbed but the leather across the top of the foot are just not made for wide feet. I wish I hadn’t worn them or I would have returned them.

I ordered my usual 7 in these, and unfortunately they fit a little big. That's not too surprising with sandals of this style, though. Overall these seem decently well made - sturdy, contoured sole and thick straps. In my opinion, they were a bit wide, and the straps hurt the top of my foot. Disappointed, because they look nice. Decided to return.

I always thought these were the ugliest shoes ever and even made fun of my daughter when she would beg for them growing up, I bought them for here almost every summer and turned up my nose almost every summer. I was walking through a store and there was a pair of black ones in my size sitting and looking at me so I had to try them on, I liked them so much, they just wrapped my foot in comfort, I was going to buy them but I don't really care for black shoes so went on the search for brown ones and these are great and I like the leather much better than the suede.

Love these! Super comfortable, leather part soft and comfortable, does not rub or stiff. Don’t normally buy shoes online but this purchase was a great find, I would definitely recommend. I wear a size 9 1/2 or 10 depending on the shoe but in sandals mostly a 10 and they fit perfectly.

Would have loved to keep these as they are a softer Birkenstock feel but this sandal fit quite wide for a medium width. Just returned them. I got a bother pair of this brand & they were just right. Don’t know why these were so wide.
