The fans do 220 cfm or 13,200 cubic feet per hour, 13200/5 = 2640 cf so that's about 30'x30'x3' cubic feet of crawl space. Don't forget you need air intakes on the opposite side to allow fresh air to enter. If your space is a lot bigger than 2640 cf then you need two fans. I recommend putting the fan on a timer so that it turns off at night when the outside air tends to be higher humidity which you don't want to be pulled into your crawl space. Better yet a dawn to dusk timer would be very convenient. Also place the fan on the side opposite to the prevailing winds in your area;.that way nature will assist the fan most of the time to move more air. **Q: Water proof?** A: I don’t know if it’s completely waterproof, but it seems to be moisture proof.
