Amazon Basics Waterproof Mattress Protector, Bed Bug and Dust Mite Barrier, King, White

I got this mattress cover for my son’s bed. He tends to sweat a lot and this cover is doing its job in protecting the mattress. It’s definitely waterproof. I didn’t notice any smell when I took it out of its package and it fit the queen size mattress very well. I’m very happy with the quality of this cover.

I messed up and spilled coffee on my new mattress. Unfortunately, I did not have any kind of mattress protector. This lead me down a path of desperately trying to clean the coffee stain off my mattress and solidified my view that a good mattress protector is a necessity. Thankfully after a long effort involving oxyclean and vinegar (which did not work) I was able to remove the stain with aqueous ozone and borax. Now I will use this awesome mattress protector to keep my mattress clean. I like that this doesn't feel like I'm laying on plastic like so many other mattress protectors do. It feels really nice, it's comfortable and fits perfectly on my 14 inch mattress.

This mattress cover is nice. I bought it for an older box spring and mattress that had a little damage due to cat clawing it. I purchased 2 to cover each one. It helps the appearance look new again. It’s not easy to put on but I was able to do it myself. Glad it zips on the entire mattress. I bought a new box spring recently and plan to buy again to keep the cat from tearing up the material.

It’s good and thin and def waterproof, but they gave me the wrong size, it’s really not noisy once you put on a sheet, it machine washes and drys good

I am very impressed with this encasement bag. It is well made and provides the protection we were looking for, primarily that to prevent bed bugs and dust mites from touching the mattress. Some of the reviews were misleading because this product is not meant as a traditional mattress protector .... it is an encasement bag. We first installed this encasement bag and then over it we have a mattress protector. Then comes the fitted sheet. Our mattress is 11 1/2 inches deep, so this one fit nice ... it is meant for 12". There's a bit of room left over, but if you have a 15" deep mattress it may not fit. Lastly, there were no installation instructions provided. I suggest you do a google search and see videos. Overall, I highly recommend this product.

Fits the mattress well and has definitely saved us from spills. It doesn’t make much noise when moving around either. The downside is it can get a bit warm at night compared to a regular sheet.
