Is this cable wired one-to-one with pin locations?

OK, I just bought this and all 8 pins connect (electrically) to the corresponding pin on the other end. There are 8 wires running through the cable. (This is often not true for some such cables.) I did not find any RX/TX type crossover between pins. The plastic cable seems quite durable & thick. I've not pulled it appart to find the actual wire guage though.

I have not Tried it. The Cable is Straight Thru. So it might work.
