RX WELD 79PCS TIG Welding Accessories Torch Kit

I ordered a ALPHA TIG 201XD 9/2020 (current model). My welder came with the rotating head 9/17 torch (not the flex head). Everything fit very nice except for the 2 insulator cups. I just reused my insulators and it works fine. The 2 that come in the kit are too small for the large torch head and too big for the small torch. Not a big deal for the price of the kit and other 53 parts fit great! Worth the money. No instructions, but easy to figure out. Make sure you put the o-rings in the correct order (red one goes on first) see pics on the item description,

The cost of this kit makes this a good value for me. I dont use them everyday and I have not used the glass on AC yet but nothing has failed me yet. The glass discolored after a few two hour runs but it has held up well and hasn't cracked even though I've bumped it on the table pretty hard. The ceramic cups are pretty good too. *edit* I've used this kit for a three(ish) years now and I have run the glass on AC quite a bit. One lasted for an entire 8hr aluminum job and a few small jobs, roughly 20 hrs or so total. The glass became brittle and broke after I set it down a little hard. I purchased another set and will continue to abuse the glass cups for this price. I've given the glass cups away to a few welder friends with the same feedback from them.

Well I can say you get quite a bit for the $$, but my box arrived broken as can be seen in the pic. The box to hold all the individual pieces is important. Although it was packed well (box inside another Amazon box with air cushion strips) the actual box was badly broken at the right hinge. No parts were damaged. I sure would like a working box tho. Frankly this would be a 5 star review given the seeming quality of the parts, and the well thought thru organization but . . . the broken box is not good and for the life of me I can't figure out how to use the glass lenses that are part of the kit. There are also 2 colors of "O" rings (red and green) but no sheet explaining how they suggest you install the glass cups. Otherwise the parts appear to be quite satisfactory but the broken box and odd sized glass cups with no explanation turn it into a 3 star. EDIT next day: Duh - I was having a brain dead moment and was able to figure out the gas/pyrex lens. Simply put 2 of the O-rings on one of the gas lens bodies, screw in the gas lens body. The pyrex cup is held on by the O-rings. Use 2 or it isn't stable. Upgraded to 4 stars. Would be 5 stars if they shipped me another case without returning all this stuff.

It has everything is need for my class in this kit I do recommend getting this kit for tig welding.

This is a decent quality kit for the money. There are a few reviews that said this kit wont fit a CK torch. But it will.. You do have to trim the inside ring of the adapter slightly to fit but it works OK. Collets and collet bodies are not great quality. They will work but not near brand quality. I wanted to try some stubby ceramic cups and pyrex cups. I do a fair amount of light sheet metal so for the money and my need not all bad. If you weld for a hobby this is workable.

So I'm a beginner to tig welding. Been tig welding for about 2 weeks now. I kept hearing about using gas lenses and stubby kits. And have wanted to pick one up but kept putting it off. Don't make my mistake GET THIS KIT NOW. This kit will greatly improve the learning process. Benefits are as follows. 1, better gas coverage over collet body. 2, reduced gas usage, ( more efficiently lays gas coverage ) 3, smaller components allows for more precision to get closer to material and allows for steady hands. 4, feels lighter. 5, Pyrex cups allow you to see a tad clearer. This kit comes with alot of different sized cups. This kit is very good quality. Comes with a plastic case. Remember, practice makes perfect no piece of kit out there will substitute for skill. This kit does at least for me helps tremendously. Also a little tip, if you have the big fat handled tig torch I highly recommend switching to a traditional torch ( wp26, wp9, some wp17f ) better grip and smaller profile

Worth it for the price but diffusers don’t last long made poorly and will contaminate fast!

I was scammed showed this item to be compatible with welder I ordered nothing close plus I'd have to pay shipping to return be aware of these rip offs

The long back cap broke/melted after two weeks.. Nonetheless, the set worked great.
