The color is just right as I ordered vampire red for my highlights. The end result is fantastic and I would definitely order again or try another color based on manic Panic collection of color ranges. Application is very easy and smooth. Definitely recommend for quality hair dye

My hair is unbleached black with a brown undertone and brown highlights. I've never coloured or bleached my hair before. I absolutely loved this hair dye. I applied it on washed dry hair and kept it for about 3 hours. I absolutely loved the result. There is barely any smell to the dye. I've shampooed my hair for about 6 times and the color is still there but fading slowly.Obviously you'd get even better results if you bleach your hair.For people looking to try out hair color for the first time or even if you are looking to keep changing your hair color this is a perfect option.

The part of my hair that I intended to use this colour of Manic Panic is bleached. The bleached hair took on this colour very well. My natural hair colour is dark brownish black. So the contrast was quite striking. I got many compliments. The sad part of it is that, the colour runs out with every wash so it's about a month now and it is almost out.

This color is become my fav because the red is so intense. Be careful it stains everything..Its a beautiful red color.. it bleads color during every wash. Your hair has to be bleached in order to use this color.

I have wanted to dye my hair red for the last ten years, and with quarantine, I was like - screw it - it's time to take the plunge.I went with manic panic Vampire Red because I didn't want it to be permanent, but I also wanted a pretty intense red. Here is what I learned.By the way, keep in mind that I diluted the manic panic with conditioner, so your results may be COMPLETELY different if you just use the dye with no dilution.Positives:1. Easy applicationI honestly know nothing about dying hair, and it turned out amazing regardless.2. NO BLEACH NEEDED!! (see before and after picture)Look, obviously if you want that red to match the color on the container, you're gonna have to bleach your hair. But it looks awesome without it too, which I can't say about all hair dyes!3. It didn't destroy my hair!Actually, my hair felt amazing after application. Not to mention I have thin, delicate hair that I'm deathly paranoid of damaging (for fear that I might lose what I have!).4. The dye smells awesome! AND it's vegan!Negatives:1. It bleeds. Everywhere.I'm lucky that my towels and sheets are all dark because HOLY MOLY this thing bleeds for weeks after the initial dye job. Even when I got sweaty during exercise, some of the droplets were pinkish red! I don't even want to imagine what would happen if I got in a chlorinated pool!I mean, I expected as much because it's semi-permanent, but man. It's stubborn to get off surfaces, and it never did come out of my one set of light colored sheets. Make sure you have some bleach and a magic eraser handy, because I would have stained everything I loved if I wasn't careful.2. It has pink undertones, which can make it fade strangely.Now this may not actually be a negative for you, but it was for me since I wanted browner undertones. To each their own though.Overall, this was a cheap and fantastic choice. I would wholeheartedly recommend this to anyone who is curious!
