Just received the switch & it's sturdy but there are no instructions on how to wire for 2 power sources to one load. where do i get the instructions?

Im going to use this switch to flip power between dryer and water heater 230v 2 phase . Hook up dryer to pin 1+ 5 main power in on 2 + 6, for pos 1-- also add jumper to 2 + 4 and a jumper to 6+8 for pos 2 then add Water heater to 3+ 7 . This should work to flip power.

Anybody have a wiring diagram for this unit to connect a 240v 50a circuit? need a switch to change between feeding a 50a outlet and 50a piece of equip

All the instructions come in Chinese with a very vague chart. You must be greatly intuitive to figure it out with a meter. Good luck I'm still trying.

It has a label that says 240v / 2.5a ith=63a. what does 2.5a mean?

That’s strange, mine doesn’t say that. It should be 660 volts and 63amps. I have mine between 30amp shore power a 1500 w inverter for my RV

Can this be used to switch between two 50 amp outlets for charging an electric vehicles?

Absolutely but I wouldn't push 50 through it. I'm not sure what it's rated at but would easily do 30 A
