product works good, packaging was okay-ish, Amazon should take care of packaging for such delicate parts. a ram is a must upgrade if you want your PC to work without the lag. SSD is a good option too for upgrading performance, but it comes only when you have ample ram to load the applications. my advice, if your PC already has >=8gb ram installed, then go for an SSD, as this will decrease the application load times dramatically, even the os will load a lot quicker. However, any configuration having less than 8gb ram, I would suggest upgrading the ram to at least 8gb first then install the SSD. for today's application standards, 8gb is the recommended minimum ram size for PC.

Who needs their Ram to be flashy and look like you could throw it across the room into the eye of an assassin climbing through your window? Answer - You Don't! It sits upright on the motherboard and your only ever going to see the top of it 99.99% of the time anyway, unless your the type of person who actual takes their computer apart to show your friends each part individually. Since I am not that kind of person this Ram was perfect for me! It's the same great Ram that Crucial makes just missing the aerodynamic qualities of the plastic sheath that allows it be used as mentioned before, but even more important than that is that its cheaper! This kit comes with 4 total sticks, 2 separate boxes each containing a compatible pair of Ram. This means, and I'm sure your going to be putting these onto a motherboard that actually has a minimum of 4 ram slots, that you want to keep the sticks "together". So when I installed these onto my motherboard I opened one box, removed the two sticks and installed them into slots 1 and 2, because that's where the manual that came with my motherboard said to put them. Then I opened the second box and took the other two sticks of Ram and installed them into slots 3 and 4, again because that's what the manual said to do. It is very important to keep the two pairs of Ram "together" on the motherboard because they were tested to be as compatible with each other as possible, within specified parameters, so mixing them up isn't going to do you any favors once they're in the computer. You may have noticed that I kept putting quotations around the word "together" in this review, and that's because not every motherboard is built the same so you need to read the manual that came with it to determine how best to install 4 sticks of Ram on it so that way they stay paired.

Amazing product, works perfectly with ASUS R558UQ and the specifications match with the description given on the website. I rated it 4/5 because it is a little overpriced than in the local market. However , it's an amazing piece and I'd recommend it.

I had bought this for ASUS R558U-540D. It is working fine, there is not any compatibility issue. It is a Dual Rank memory, so check for the compatibility by visiting crucial's website. Now, multitasking is breeze. Gaming performance has increased slightly. There is not much of a difference due the slow hard disk(5400rpm). If you have same laptop as mine, then you should consider replacing HDD with SSD.

My lap is Asus. It is working fine and lap now shows 12gb Ram. So its well integrated. I am not sure about the performance yet. I will review clearly after using it thoroughly as I just installed it yesterday.

I purchased this product last year. Crucial supposedly provides a warranty of 10 years. It stopped working after a year or so. After depositing it in the authorized service centre in New Delhi, a m/s Kaizen Infoserve, even after close to a month, no replacement is available. Crucial's after sales service is non existant. Please don't buy and regret like me.

Hatte in meinem Notebook bereits einen 8 GB Stick, und wollte einen (praktisch) identischen 8 GB hinzukaufen. Hat hervorragend und problemlos funktioniert. Der neue Stick läuft völlig problemlos, so dass ich jetzt schnelle 16 GB habe. Bin sehr zufrieden.

本体メモリは既に8GB搭載されていることもあり、 以前メインに使用していたラップトップの4GBに比べたら、 基本的には快適サクサクだったのですが動画編集ソフトや、 ライトルームでの現像時など若干物足りない為今回購入しました。 初めてのメモリ増設なので色々なサイトを見ましたが、 とりあえずスリム型なのでSODIMMというノート仕様のもの、 そしてDDR4-2133という物で絞りをかけお手頃なコチラを選択。 取り付けに関しては本当蓋開けて差し込むだけなので簡単でした。 取り付け後一週間ほど経ちますが、 無事に認識しており不具合等なく動作しております。 やっぱりメモリ使用量が少ないと精神的にも楽ですね。 見違える程の体感は無いかもしれませんが、 それでもやっぱりかなり快適な動作になってくれています。 以前8GBのくせに結構負荷を掛けてしまっていたのだと思います。 ちなみにお届け目安が2ヶ月くらいになってましたが、 運が良かったのか1週間くらいで届いてくれました。ご安心ください。
