It’s your basic plastic box for covering utility wires. The builder left Cat5 and Coax cables dangling out the side of our new home and said our ISP wound need them to connect their equipment. Since we have fiber optic internet, the ISP didn’t use the wires left by the builder.I trimmed the wires and screwed this to the wall of the house. Total time to complete was 5 minutes. Only reason for removing stars is the product seems to be made of weaker material than the pictures lead on, and it arrived dirty and worn, as can be seen in the pictures I provided.

Used the Cabletek Enclosure to replace an existing broken cable box. Easily mounted, although I did need to drill new holes into back of enclosure to adjust for location on house siding. Opening in back of enclosure allowed snaking cable into box without having to disconnect cable connection. Enclosure dimensions were perfect for my application. Very cost-effective solution for my project.

Like other reviewers, I used this on the outside of my home to hide all the coaxial cable junction terminals. I couldn't find any type of similar box at my local home store.Just a warning, LATEX PAINT DOES NOT ADHERE very well to the type of plastic used for this box. I learned the hard way after spraying it my house color, I could peel the paint right off in one piece. Interesting enough, other type of exterior product plastics (such as outlet covers) do not suffer this issue. You can still paint this box, just you will have to do a lot of special preparation (adhesion promoter, primer, etc)

Thank you for making this good product. Very clean looking. I have purchased to replaced my old box that had a broken lid and turned in to wasp nest. Now wasps are out and cable box looks good on the side of my house. Its defiantly worth the money. Thank you

I connected up a CCTV system for my house and used the enclosure for the exit of the cabling on the cameras.The project turned out great.The reason for the 4 stars is the foam used to keep the enclosure free of any unwanted guests. (hornets, bees, spiders etc)Wasn't the best quality as it came apart as I ran the cables through the opening. I ended up using foam rubber as a seal.For the money, you cant beat the enclosure, and it will make your work look professional.

Works for what I needed, it is a bit small though. It was hard to fit a 4 way coax splitter and cable all in it. As well as through the cable openings. But it's great and it really cleaned up the cables on the side of the house from the butchery that satellite and cable companies did to the house. I took the picture after filled in all the holes before sanding and painting to match the house. No i did not paint the box.

This was purchased to install on the home we are building. It was a little warped when it got here, and I was concerned about it. However, after installing it on the side of the house, it was pulled back into shape and opened and closed easily.Great product, does what it is designed for, mainly providing a place for sat and cable connections.

As described. My issue is that I am mounting this upside down, and even with the hinge and two screws firmly in place holding the cover on, one corner of the cover hangs down slightly from the base. I've checked to see if the wires inside were pushing them down, and it's not that. The product doesn't appear damaged or warped, so I can only assume this is just a design thing. Not completely noticeable, but I notice it! :)
