It is a very small book but quality of paper is extremely high
I purchased this for my friend who is a science teacher in Government school. The dimension of the book is really small. You can take anywhere. It almost fit in your pocket. But the quality of the paper and the information it contain is of high quality

Very worthwhile introduction
I did O level chemistry a very long time age and this did not include anything about organic carbon-based chemistry. I found this introduction very interesting and very clearly presented. Given my low level of knowledge it required some work to get through it, but it was very well worthwhile and it gave me insights into the uses of carbon-based chemicals in medicine and industry.

good first book on organic chemistry
Organic chemistry is one of those "gate keeper" college classes where the professors want to cut out as many weak students as possible. So the textbooks they write cram as much information as possible into the books and present the material in as abstract and boring a manner as possible. The student has to be able to memorize a ton of apparently random unrelated stuff or he will drop the class. This book on the other hand is very well written with lots of examples and applications to make the subject interesting. If you just want to find out what organic chemistry is about, this is a good book to start.
