The setup process was more complicated than expected, with unclear instructions that made getting started frustrating. Even after spending considerable time calibrating the machine, the engraving results were inconsistent. The advertised precision did not match the results I achieved. Fine details often came out blurry or uneven, and repeated jobs produced different outcomes despite using the same settings. The 3500mW laser also felt underpowered for many materials, requiring multiple passes and significantly increasing project time. I also encountered reliability issues during operation, including interrupted jobs and occasional connection problems. These issues resulted in wasted materials and unnecessary frustration. The software experience was not as smooth as I expected, making the overall workflow less efficient. Build quality was average at best, and the machine did not inspire confidence for long-term use. Considering the time spent troubleshooting and the inconsistent performance, I do not feel this engraver delivered the value I expected.
