Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  It's so hard to find a bag that will work for a dachshund. Since the bag's namesake, Django, is a dachshund, I knew this would work! We did use this on a plane (note - Toby is an ESA and does not need a standard carrier; this bag is not airline approved). Toby didn't want to come out of the bag on the plane, which is unusual. He was so cozy and happy. I think the bag gives him a "burrowing" feeling and he does love to burrow. It's not too heavy, even with my 14lb doxie, and quite well made. I wish the larger pocket would hold my iPad, but that's the only thing keeping this bag from being perfect. I'm bringing Toby to NYC in a couple of weeks and plan to tote him around the city in his Django bag! Also, most people just thought I had a large purse or bag and didn't even notice the dog, which amused me. As for Toby, he's very chill in the bag and I think he likes seeing where he's going. Thumbs and paws up!

I love this bag! I had been looking for a nice looking and well-made bag to take my frenchie on adventures. I've taken her several places now and am very pleased. My dog is comfortable in the bag and so if she's tired she'll happily ride along and doesn't try and jump out when I stick her in to go into a store. It was comfortable for me to carry her as well. The size large is a larger bag, but it doesn't look or feel awkward, and it fits my dog well and distributes her weight evenly. There are also ample pockets. This bag is discreet. Several people said they didn't notice I had a dog in the bag. For reference, I have a 20lb French bulldog.

I ordered this bag and it was everything I needed. Most dog bags I found online or on amazon we’re pretty unflattering; they either were cheetah print, flimsy, or just plain ugly. Django’s bag was exactly what I needed, it was a handsome bag, solid color, and had pockets for poop bags, leashes and even collapsible bowls. Unfortunately, threads on the bag handles started to loosen and would tangle on my fingers and my dogs necks and ears. I reached out to the company and they sent me a prepaid label and fixed the bag for free and send it back very promptly along with 2 dog sweaters for my dogs for the inconvenience. I have a Yorkie Mix and a Miniature Long-Haired Dachshund, they both fit perfectly enough to sit, lay and sleep in the bag. Amazing customer service and great product! Highly recommend!

I love this bag!! It’s PERFECT for my super long doxie. I was so worried he’d be too long for it since every other bag seems to be short. But he fits perfect, you can tell it’s a high quality bag:...I haven’t gone on a trip with it yet but it seems very sturdy and well made.We fly a lot and my doxie is older so he’s a slow walker, he hates the crates so this is a perfect alternative (he’s an ESA so he can be out of the standard carrier) so this is the perfect in between. I love the zippered top part and all the zippered pockets are a god send!It’s more then I typically even spend on an everyday purse for myself but I think it’s worth it.

Expensive, beautiful, heavy, cumbersome. If you don’t have a long dog it will tip forward. This is for dogs longer than a foot. I walked half a mile with my 5 lbd dog inside and the muscle connecting my neck to my shoulder was hurting the next day. The canvas is quality the leather as well but this makes for a heavy bag and there is no crossbody wear option. For the price I would have liked D rings on each to add my own padded strap and snap closures to close the head hole as my dog spills out of the hole with the weight being forward. It requires constrain adjustment. The shoulderpad that snaps around the handles is also cumbersome requiring you to put the bag down and closing them and it’s a tight fit. I would recommend for a Weiner dog that is already trained to be in a bag. Not a puppy or a dog under a foot.

Love the bag! The waxed canvas is gorgeous (got the bag in black) and it's a very well crafted bag. We have a tiny chihuahua puppy and found it very easy to put her in the bag and carry her around town. It's got great, easy-to-access pockets for dog stuff storage and for your personal items, which I couldn't find in other bags on the market.That said, there's definitely some room for improvement. Our little dog was often able to slip an arm or half of her body out of the head hole (tiny dog problems!). So it would be great if instead of an open hole there was optional zipper mesh to close it up when you need your little fur baby to stay inside. Another slight issue is that the sides of the bag don’t have much support or boning, so we found them collapsing on our dog at times. Definitely wish the sides had more support and stiffness. Also, the bag is a wee bit heavy. That speaks to the high quality construction for sure though! But it can get a bit heavy walking around when the bag might weigh more than our dog!Overall it's great a great bag, albeit a bit spendy.

Beautiful carrier and my sweet girl is very comfortable in it. Took it on a trip last weekend and it does fit under the airline seat. Not saying that it is airline approved but it does fit and she did a lot better then in a typical carrier. Only thing I would say I wish it that it wasn't so heavy. After a short time, it gets heavy on my shoulder. My furry child is a 6 lb pom. But I love all the pockets, I was able to put items like license, ticket and lipstick in the pocket and not take my purse. Only reason that I did not give it 5 stars is due to the weight and cost, however, I would recommend it to anyone looking for a classy carrier for their furry child. The sides do not collapse and it is very comfy and roomy. Compared to others it is a bit costly but it is made extremely well and solid and I doubt that I will need to purchase another case for years to come!

I loved this bag. I got it to travel with my miniature schnauzer (he us 13 lb) and it made it way easier to carry him around the airport. There are 3 things I like about this bag. 1) it looks small when you wear it but my dog could fit perfectly in it (sitting and laying down). 2) i don’t know how but it distributes weight perfectly I didn’t even feel I was carrying 13 lbs on one shoulder. 3) is super cute.Also my dog didn’t seem to mind being in there.Highly recommend
