It has been given a unique contour at the back and additional material behind the sweet spot to deliver extra power and punch. Edges of this bat are thicker than other cricket bats at same price range. This bat is equipped with a 9-piece imported cane handle which is supreme in shock absorbing. All wolfer bats are designed and tested by state level star players. We have designed the wolfer vulpinus - grade 3a English willow cricket bat with a relatively low sweet spot to suit the Indian pitch conditions. It is a brilliant bat for crafty stroke play, as well as occasional lofted shots. Fully pressed grade 3a English willow light weight (1220 - 1360 grams) great pick up with xpro-balance curved blade and thick edges padded bat cover for extra protection unlike other brands in the market, we are transparent about the grade of willow used in each of our bats. All our bats are shipped in black lint and cotton branded covers. These bats are then packaged in transit-safe 5-ply corrugated boxes so they reach you in mint condition. Knocking instructions: The bat is pre-oiled using linseed oil, however very small quantity of oil can be used to rub the exposed surface of the bat and the bat should be kept for 24 hours in horizontal position before you begin to knock it. For best performance it is recommended to knock the bat for at least 1 week using an old ball or a mallet. The toe and the edges of the bat need special attention as they can not be hit directly while knocking. One should gradually increase the force to knock the bat. Post knocking you can use anti scuff sheet to protect the edges of the bat. Use the bat in nets for 2-3 days before taking it for a match using a good quality old ball and if you still see seam marks on your willow, the stick needs a bit more knocking before it is ready for the match. ## Features - Wolfer Vulpinus Grade 3A English Willow Grade is a hand made bat made from fully Pressed English willow, willow selected considering important features like right moisture, minimal or no marks, extracted from the appropriately mature part of the tree, hence require minimal effort in knocking and can be used for playing very soon. - Light weight bats and Great pick up, highly recommended for academy training.
