Bosch is expensive but the stand surely id available at a good price if you compare it with others
I orderd it for a different reason....it will hold my easel box which i have designed and will get it milled with my Carpenter....an upgrade to my existing box which is small... 5/8" screw ...hence bought a set of 5/8" threader and an aluminium plate to hold the new box...

Tripod doesn't include attachment for Bosch GLL 5-50
I have just received this BT 160 tripod but i am unable to mount Bosch Laser measure GLL 5-50, as there is no attachment to support this model. I am ready to pay for the attachment if required

Excellent quality; excellent value.
To be honest, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this tripod. It is solidly designed and built and everything functions smoothly. It has enough mass to stand firmly, yet is light enough to pack around. A very good value. As with most similar tripods, it has a 5/8-11 male threaded fitting. I bought an adapter from Amazon so that I could also use equipment with a 1/4-20 female connection. Very happy with this purchase.

Incredibly sturdy. I've taken off the carrying strap as it makes clamping one of the legs very awkward.

Rock solid
I have been using another tripod with telescoping legs. What a pain. This one does not have leg bend stops which makes it easy set up on uneven hillsides. It is strong. The leg points have tabs to step on and push them into the soil. The quick release adjustments are such a dream after telescoping legs. It is just so fast and secure. Another thing I didn't expect are the built in straps. There is a snap strap to wrap around the legs and secure the legs during transport. And then there is the carry strap. I haven't tried shoulder carry (it seems a little short for that). For hand carrying it is a big plus. Every thing about this tripod is solid. The only way to secure this to equipment is with the sliding 5/8"-11 male thread. I was able to get a tap at my local Ace hardware. If that is not what your devise requires you will need an adapter. The screw is secured though a slot plate, has large slot grip knob, and a plumb bob hook centered in the bottom of the knob. There are no adapters, cases, know. plumb bob included with the tripod. I would definitely recommend this to friends.
