ASICS Women's Gel-Contend 9 Running Shoes

I love ASCICS. They fit perfectly every time. Comfortable, a very stable foot bed, and they wear like iron. I have 2 pairs that are over 10 years old that I continue to wear for yard work and gardening - still no holes. I won't wear any other athletic shoe. The color is different than I expected. But after looking at them for a couple of days, I'm happy with the color.

I usually get trail running the shoes for the extra support but tried these and was happy with having a lot of support in running shoes. That being said they are a little bit heavy if you’re looking for light running shoes, but if you’re looking for supportive, running shoes and comfortable shoes, these are a good bet. They are true to size. Very comfortable. Very supportive. Look great. I am very happy with my purchase and have been using them for a while now and they have held up great.

These sneakers fit true to size and are very comfortable. Lightweight, they almost feel like walking on air. They are breathable and my feet hardly sweat in them. Easy for running or walking, I'm using them on my treadmill as indoor sneakers. They seem to keep me stable, without having the wide heel on them. My other brand has the wide heel and it tends to trip me up a lot. These are so much better. Well made, great design and very comfortable to wear. Easy to put on and tie up.

These are my fourth pair of Asics Gel shoes. Pros: - Excellent for wide feet - Lightweight and comfortable - Good quality and have lasted me for a long time Cons: - I found the laces to run a tad bit short; picking up longer ones for a few dollars at the local store fixed that - These are meant to road running and dry locations. If you are going in muddy places, the front of the shoe having a more porous surface will get soaked. It's not necessarily a con since they are not being advertised for this feature, but something to be aware of if it's a requirement for you I will definitely buy again! To me, these are the go-to shoes with excellent comfort for wide feet, without sacrificing on style or looks.

I waited to write my review on these shoes. I ordered them in Oct of 2025. I only wear them for work. I am a house keeper. So I wear them 4 to 5 days a week for about 10 hours each day. They are so comfortable immediately. The fit is true to size! My only issue with these is I’m already getting a hole in the top from my toes.. I am hyper mobile which doesn’t help that. And the tongue does move after wearing them to where I have to adjust it a bit. But they are great shoes, especially for the price. I will be repurchasing them again.

Love it. Super comfortable. My feet didn’t hurt after wearing them all day. Didn’t feel like I was wearing shoes to be honest. I’ve been using Vionic for years and I love them but they are too expensive for me now. Size is accurate. I wear an 8 and ordered wide because my feet have expanded I guess. Nice traction and didn’t slip getting my mom up and down the ramp. Style is good. Don’t really care much about the style. Black hides dirt. I don’t like how thick the the bottoms are but that doesn’t stop the fact that they are comfortable. Can’t say about durability. Ask me in six months. I like the shoes overall and ASICS are good for foot issues. My new fave shoe . Sorry Vionic.

The Asics Gel-Contend 9 Running Shoes have great support and comfort When I'm Walking or working out.

These are the most comfortable sneakers I’ve owned and they are supportive for my plantar fasciitis. Thus the 3 stars. That being said, I paid $75 for them and have only had them for 5 months and they already have a hole in them. I’ve purchased several pair of Asics before these and never have I had a hole in any of them. I’m very disappointed!
