Spins well and keeps the bird mess off our door mat!
We have purchased a dozen of these over the years and they do the trick to keep the birds from Nesting and ****’n on our porch entryway. We love the birds but not their mess on our doormat. My husband mounted one to a board for stability so it wasn’t permanent by our front door. Works great.

Great at spooking peckers
Our house used to be beset by woodpeckers looking to build a nest in our wood siding. This is an excellent pecker spooked. It has spooked all the peckers that were previously pecking at our siding. We have been peckerless since installation. Highly recommend.

Does not Deter Pigeons
Installed the spinning bird reflector and within 10 minutes I already saw it wasn’t effective. Even though it was cloudy day it was spinning, but the pigeon didn’t care at all. Unfortunately, it didn’t deter them as advertised.

Not Starlings
Though this undoubtedly repel some birds, the Starlings seemed to get used to it, and then nested in the coping of a pole barn building immediately below the spinner. The shiny surfaces are very reflective and can be seen a long way away. The assembly was pretty straight forward and seems to work well.

Bird protector
This really works. Before birds would crashed into my large picture window and I wanted to prevent that from happening. I attached the wind mill to a small ceramic flower pot so that it does not blow over. No more problems with birds hitting the window. 😊

Reflector cones are plastic, manufacturer packaging is inadequate.
Pro: The base is made of sturdy aluminum. The aluminum arm is adjustable, circular rotation and angular rotation. Cons: The shiny cone wheel is made of chrome plated plastic and probably won’t survive 4 to 5 Arizona Summers! Opened up the bird deflector “manufacturer’s brown box to find absolutely no cushioning between the aluminum base and the shiny plastic cone wheel. Note: I do not know yet if this will scare away our neighborhood birds or how long it will last. I may update later.

It works, no more birds.
We had problems with birds landing on the patio chairs. They make a real mess. This Spinner solved the problem.

50% effective, 50% Not
We bought a set of two a month ago. I was very hopeful about this for my 'chicken area' because we have had all kinds of raptor issues. One of them spins well and one of them does not spin AT ALL. It barely moves- ever. We have high winds on and off too. We've tried to trouble shoot it, and I do not have it in me to return it. We mounted it and it will be a pain to un-remove. To be fair-The one that works is effective and does the job I wanted but doesn't cover enought area. Still looking for something better..... Revision- the company contacted me and gave me a full refund. That was appreciated.
