Card quality is excellent. Lots of cards (430+) and additional game modes. Recreates the original mini game well. May need a better playmat as the one bundled is made of glossy thick paper and possibly susceptible to wearing and tearing after prolonged use.

I already had experience with Gwent from the video game, so I knew the mechanics going in, but I was still curious how well it would translate to a physical card game. Happy to say it works really well. I’ve played this mostly with friends who range from total beginners to people who enjoy strategy-heavy games. Setup is straightforward, and once you get through the first round, the flow feels very natural. Matches are quick but still require real thought, which makes it easy to play multiple rounds without it dragging. The cards themselves feel high quality and the artwork is excellent, especially if you’re a Witcher fan. Only thing I would like to see in a new release is a hard cardboard mat for the actual game. the current one is simply paper. If you like deck-building or tactical card games, or already enjoy Gwent digitally, I’d absolutely recommend this. It’s easy to learn, hard to master, and very replayable.

Super fun, big fan of gwent in game and playing it for real was super fun, once you get going the games are fun fast, the cards are good and neat, highly recommend to fans of Witcher 3

Best unboxing experience in a while.Cards are good quality and game is easy to learn and play. There is so much I can say but trust me if you like Gwent you wont regret buying it.It can be played with 5 players! Have fun!

This is exactly what I wanted whenever I first played Witcher 3. Gwent was so fun in the game and I'm glad I can play physically now. The cards look exactly like they did in the game and I love how they expanded the game so up to 5 players can play. The play mats feel cheaply made but I don't really care. This is a must-buy if you are a Witcher fan.

I’m so happy to be able to play the ultimate card game without having to trudge around the Continent, destroy monsters, do quests, kiss Yennefer, find Ciri, blah blah blah! All of it only delays me from my true objective: annihilating my true foes in a round of Gwent! FINALLY an official Gwent set! The mobile game version is trash, nothing like the actual game, and I was so desperate to play a physical game of Gwent that I nearly resorted to unofficial sets online that cost hundreds of dollars. So glad I didn’t but also why, oh why didn’t this come out sooner? Just have to play more to make up for lost time, I suppose. Gwent is seriously my favorite card game. My big angus burger beef with this set is that the board is a satin-finish, folded poster. I would gladly pay more for an actual board, because the folds make the cards slip around and the finish makes it hard to see from certain angles. Also wish the jewel markers were clear plastic pieces rather than boring cardboard. If they ever sell these separately as some kind of update I’ll be happy to grab them. They’re lucky I’m just so pleased to be playing Gwent on my own table that this is still 5 stars.

Great and complete set of well-designed playing cards. The set is loyal to the W3 game. The material is quite durable, although you shouldn't expect the cards to last a lifetime, especially if you mistreat them. The box includes a useful rulebook and a guide to different game modes. The reason I don't give 5 stars is that the playing surface is made of paper, with a couple of cardboard pieces to mark the scores of the players. I understand that it would be difficult to fit a board made of harder materials in the small box, but it's certainly a "missing piece" that the creators could have handled better.
