ACOPOWER 12V 80W Portable Solar Panel; Foldable Solar Suitcase for Solar Generator, Solar Freezer w SUNPOWER Cell

The combination of this solar panel and cooler is perfect for what I need. I ordered the cooler through Woot (owned by Amazon) and then ordered the solar panel here on Amazon. What makes this cooler special is how cold it can run (20°C to -20°C or 68°F to -4°F) and that it has a battery so it can run while it is away from AC or a car outlet. When you add the solar panel it means you can run it off-grid for a fair amount of time depending on how hot (harder for the cooler to stay cold) and how sunny (needed for the solar power) it is. I plan to use this camping or in my truck so most of the time I will have an outlet I can use but this will allow me to have total freedom of use. I have tested the cooler and was able to easily freeze water bottles and performance seems very good. The first cooler I received had an issue but their support team is great and were able to work with me to get a replacement quickly.This product checks all the right boxes for me. Good product, well built and good customer service if you do have an issue.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I have been exploring and learning about solar power generation and the best way to accomplish my goal of powering a small generator as well as a refrigeration system for power outages such as the ones that occur regularly in South Florida due to hurricanes and tropical systems. I looked into Acopower because about a year ago I purchased their 150 Watt generator capable of being charged by solar panel, as well as having A/C and D/C Charging capabilities. It has worked brilliantly and having used this 80 watt solar panel, I have charged both the Acopower 150 Watt generator as well as the Acopower 40L Refrigerator included in the images attached to this review. It is very well made and stylishly compact. Excellently designed to be easily transportable with fantastic solar power production. It has worked flawlessly and is truly effective in a compact case. I am so grateful for discovering Acopower products and for their impeccable customer service and customer care. I have had all of my questions answered with such professionalism above and beyond anything i've ever experienced. Very helpful, very educational and sincere in caring about my solar needs, and concerns. My experience has been nothing but spectacular and their products continue to work flawlessly and impress me without end. I have recommended Acopower to all of my neighbors, family and friends. The panel is great for camping and occasional use. I only gave it a 4 because I bought it for continuous use off grid for a portable cooler/freezer and it’s simply not for that. I will need to hook the unit up to a permanent solar panel and use this one as a portable alternative. Otherwise great quality and good price!

The 80 watt portable panel is extremely efficient last summer when I did a week of camping in thick Maine fog. It was able to keep my teardrop camper RV battery charged...quite impressive. Teardrops do not have much storage. This panel has a has a small footprint when folded and a strong cloth covering which means that I can put it on the camper bed while traveling and not worry about the edges damaging the bed cover should it slide a bit. I like the panel so much that I bought another!
