I don't normally leave a bad review but when a seller puts out a useless product like this I have to speak up. I guess this might work if you were planning to fly your flag on your pole with kite string but that wasn't my intention. I was using a halyard and there is no way these clips will work. They are half the size they need to be. As they say, live and learn. I guess now it's off to the BIG BOX STORES NOW to purchase my flagpole clips. What a waste of my time and money. Totally useless. Stay away from this seller.

The product photos don't show what I believe is the typical way of attaching these hooks to a halyard. With the standard polypropylene halyard that came with my flagpole, I was able to form a loop, push the loop through the hook ring, and then slip the loop back over the hook. The diameter of the hook ring was perfectly adequate for this method.

Just got these so not sure how durable they are. We bought a flag pole that only had one set of clips and we wanted to hang the US flag and our Michigan flag on the same pole.

I use these on my flag pole, and I just replaced the flag, rope, and clips. My flag is 3' x 5,' and they are working fine and will likely last a while. I watched a "youtube" to see how to install the new clips, and it was easy to adjust the locations. Next time I'll spend a little more money and get a bigger unit. I am glad that I got plastic, I understand the metal clips bang against the pole and make much noise.

I had this type of flag clip before. These are so easy to clip on & off of the grommets of the flag. They are made well (solid plastic), and last a long time through all weather conditions.

They work well and are easy to attach to the flag rope. The pricing is good. I believe they are packaged four to bag.One thing I was disappointed with was durability of the snap. It got brittle and snapped off.

I bought these for my 25 foot flagpole so I could fly several flags. They are a good value and seem like they will last a long time.

Not so sure about heavy duty - that would be reserved for metal products but, they work fine, was a quick ship and good value for the money.

These are holding up as new through a double heat wave and severe gales. I recommend. Speedy delivery, too.Edit on 03/05/2021: These clips have JUST begun to snap on the inner, thinnest bit of the arm, where the plastic is bound to be at its weakest, most flexible point. However, they've withstood multiple totally brutal heatwaves, storms, and howling coastal winds, so they've definitely done their duty!

Very strong, very durable, no regrets.I've been hanging an 8x5 flag on these in moderate winds and they just hung out like norhing was happening. Great bit of kit

Bought additional clips to fly two flags simultaneously. In order to fly two flags together I shall need a small length of rope/cord/string to tie two of the clips together. Disappointed that they didn't include a bit of rope/cord/string for the purpose described.
