There is no Ethernet port but it does have two USB-C ports and you can get a USB-C to Ethernet adapter. They sell them here on Amazon.

My touch screen went out on mine. i purchased it april 29th. can anything be done to fix it or so i need to purchase a new one

I honestly wouldn't send it back to have it fixed. I would demand a refund and find something else. If you send it back to Acer to get it fixed, it's going to take them quite a while to get it back, and I would guess it will probably end up having the same issue before long. It's just my experience with these cheaper laptops, so take my suggestion with a grain of salt. Amazon will work with you to make things right, but they're going to try to push you to send it to Acer to have it repaired. I spent over 2 hours on the phone with Amazon and Acer trying to get a refund after the trackpad stopped working on mine. All I wanted was a refund, because I only had the laptop for two weeks when it broke.
