Milton2780-6LH Air Leader Hose, 1/2" x 6 ft. Rubber Hose - 1/2" NPT Brass Ends - 300 Max PSI

I use several of these 1/2" Milton air hoses in my compressor setup. One runs from the compressor to the inlet of my air dryer/regulator combo device. Another runs from the outlet of the regulator to an air manifold which then splits the air supply into multiple 1/4" air chucks.When using this hose with air fittings, you need "G" fittings, which Milton also makes. These hoses don't move around too much in my garage setup and typically last a few years in my garage which is 90+ degrees ambient temps 9 months out of the year due to the climate where I live. I think that's pretty reasonable for what is essentially a consumable item.Never had a Milton hose just blow out or come with a defect. The fittings are well made and the hose material very heavy duty. Will keep buying Milton products.

Worked great for hooking up my 80 gallon 175 PSI compressor. It allowed me to plumb my entire system with 1/2" and 3/4" plumbing. Very few options to accomplish that, but this hose is perfect 1/2" NPT, rated for 300 PSI.

I have a business working out of my hanger. I do aviation structural repair and my "power" tools are primarily air, so aside from trying to save costs by ordering from Amazon, everything is plumbed using brass or bronze fittings and "rated' hoses (not PVC).All connections have teflon tape because I do not accept ANY leaks...EVER; so when I walkied into my quiet (except for annoying flourescent light buz) hanger, I immediately hear the hissing sound of leaking air. I walked straight to the leak at my compressor to find this 300 max psi hose has ruptured!As you can see in the photos, it simply hangs stationary on the compressor, which you can also see is only rated for 175 psi, regardless that I keep the pressure at 155 psi max. This was ordered from Amazon 9/16/2021, so in review, this hose ruptured after less than 2 1/2 years at about 1/2 the rated psi, stationary and in a controlled environment.I was going to be earning revenue today but now I have to spend hours and more money tracking down a replacement locally! If you like to gambel, go ahead and buy Milton hose.

This is the perfect whip for coming off a compressor tank. Flexible enough to go where you need it, durable enough to be secure.

Does not leak air. So my old air reel is working fine again. Saved me 120 bucks. Used is for the connection from my air reel to the compressor. Did have to buy some fittings to make it work with my unit but other than that it saved me from buying a new air hose reel.

For compressor connection

Used it for a flexible vibration/motion isolater between my compressor discharge piping and the permanent, fixed compressed air piping on the adjacent wall.

The female end that spins does not seal. I read afterwards from one of the questions above that it must be used against a brass fitting to seal. Unknown if this is true or not. I ended up cutting the female ends off, slipping them on a 1/2" barb connector and tightened with T-bolt clamps. Hose seems ok quality itself. Just keep in mind the female end will not seal to a regular 1/2" galvanized MPT nipple.
