SamsillVintage Hardcover Notebook, 200 Lined Notebook Pages, Brown, 7.5 x 10 Inch

I was surprised with this journal. Quality is good for a $13 product. Paper is thick enough for fountain pens without bleed through. Barely visible ghosting shown. I tested 4 different pens all medium nib each with various inks (Waterman, Diamine, Pelikan) and the paper held up well without issues. Cover is PU leather so vegan friendly and seems durable enough to travel with. Has a ribbon bookmark which is a nice bonus.It's a no frills, basic lined journal. Meaning no pockets, gilded pages or any other additional features found in your bullet journals. This is not what this is or claims to be.One thing to note though : There is an unpleasant smell to it. Not overpowering but definitely present. An odor between chemical and fish. I don't know, it's odd. I have had it for a few days and it has yet to "air out." I'll give it a few more and then I'm cleansing it with sage. Yes, I went there.

I was looking for a nice book to transfer my recipes into.. and what I got.. Was a journal fit for Bilbo Baggins himself.. such a great notebook!!

This is a nice notebook, good quality and durability. It works perfectly for tracking game stats / etc and looks a lot nicer than a generic notepad.

This is just wonderful! Its old world looking, and the pages are nice and thick. I don't think heavy inked pens would bleed through this. This is absolutely a gift to give someone. Very nice! I will definitely buy more of these.

A classic look and great quality. The dimensions are perfect for what I need but It is a bit thinner than I expected. However, in no way is it deceiving because I should have read all the details closer.I would recommend and buy again if needed.

For the price ($10.99), this is the best journal on Amazon right now. Great quality cover. Perfect size. And the pages are nice. Not the most authentic vintage sheets, but it'll feel special when you write in them. You won't notice. The pages are also solid, and writing in ink doesn't bleed through.The ONLY problems I have with this journal is the logo on the back (which is barely visible; I like no logos), and the gluing of the last page to the cover. The gluing isn't top dollar, but it won't matter when the words you're putting inside of it mean more than just the quality of the book. I bought 2. But seriously, actually the best journal on Amazon right now. Highly recommend. I'll be bringing this journal everywhere I can. I love it.Purchased: May 5, 2022.

I love this journal! The paper is beautiful with a antiqued parchment-style look to it. It's also very heavy and smooth. The size is very good (I got the larger size), it has a ribbon bookmark, and, yes, it lays flat. The spine detail is a beautiful addition. And for around $14.00! Definitely recommend and will definitely order again.

Very sturdy well put together book.

The notebook itself is good and of good size. However, the value it provides doesn’t equate the high price, it should be priced in the CAD $12-$15 price range.The paper is lovely, I really like the stained look. The cover is sturdy although it is not real leather, meaning it won’t look so lovely for a long time.Unfortunately, the notebook was mailed to me without packaging. A mailing label was slapped on the notebook itself and tossed in the mail. So any imperfections, such as dented corners is likely due to the poor decision to toss it in the mail as is.

I am a writer, I write everyday and this is one of the many journals I have. I am extremely specific when it comes to selecting good quality journals and surprisingly this journal is great! One of my favorites

There is some finish/coating on the pages which makes it difficult for writing with a fountain pen. Other notebooks are much easier to write in. Disappointed. I wanted to like this but kept getting frustrated when writing with fountain pens. I haven’t tried other types of pens.

Love this book makes me feel like I am living in another century. I can hear the pen as it moves against the paper giving a very relaxing rhythm
