It won't leak out do to the gas is under pressure. The draw of the pressured gas literally pulls the air in to make a combustible mixture in the grill. **Q: It wont turn off. i push the knob down and turn it, but it doesn't stop. i have to remove the tank. can i replace the knob?** A: The knob has to pop out to turn off the the gas **Q: Why can't i light the grill? i followed the instructions? i bought it in april but didn't open it till october for emergency coking.** A: We had problems but mainly our problem was with the propane bottle. If we had it to do all over again we would have bought a better one not to say it wouldn't have problems. Was not really happy with this purchase. **Q: How do I connect the ground wire? From where to where?
