I am relatively new to fishing so I am in the process of building up my gear. Over on YouTube I am watching videos of all the different types of lures that are available (quite a few different kinds), so when I came across this product I definitely wanted to get hold of a set and give them a review.For the price, I think this is an outstanding set of lures. There is a nice variety here, with poppers, crankbaits, minnow baits and rattlers included. I was pleasantly surprised to see the addition of 10 swivels in the package. Really, this is a great variety pack! I am excited to try all of them out. I have used a few so far and have been very pleased with their motion and playability in the water. I went to the local fishing pond where I had never had any success and promptly hooked a small-mouth bass. Yes! Fishing is supposed to be fun but I wasn't enjoying too much until I got these.The lures themselves are beautiful. They are bright and shiny and well designed and painted. The eyes look very realistic and they swim well when guiding them through the water. And the hooks are SHARP! Like I said, I am fairly new to fishing and I wasted not time at all in hooking one of my fingers when I was attaching one of these to a swivel.Unfortunately, my favorite lure that I have used so far is now sitting at the bottom of the pond. I discovered that casting with braided line has some challenges compared to monofilament and I snapped my line on one of my casts (hey, I thought only the fish were supposed to snap my line!). So, I am now more educated about that problem.Bass are the primary fish I am after, but I will be branching out with some of the lures to try to grab some other saltwater fish as the season progresses and I become more proficient. Suffice it to say that I now have a nice variety of different lures to entice the fish onto my rod and reel.

Lure diversity on a lake is key, and this boxed set of lures provides a lot of possibilities.The paint schemes and quality are very good.And the box has adjustable slots and an easy-opening lid and latch, and is a nice thickness. The box is very solid and high quality.The treble hooks are sized correctly for the lure sizes and expected fish species. (I remove the front treble on each to limit weed snagging and also because the fish almost always hit the rear treble hook. Your choice to do or not.)Add in the swivels too, and what you have is a tremendous value for the money.
