Put the duster tube over the entrance/crack and and inject it with the duster. This dust is so fine it acts like a gas and penetrates deep. It is a very effective method and pumping the dust into the opening works very well. **Q: I want to apply this product in my backyard ( have a huge problem with ants...)....how long I have to wait before my dog can enjoy her backyard again.** A: I'm not really sure. I found it to be kind of strong(had to use face mask and gloves) and I was only putting it in my window sills (I live on the 3rd floor).
