Seriously can't believe I went so long with out having this.

This has served as a durable and excellent scraper. It has a fairly sharp edge which is excellent for cutting dough, cleaning off the countertop, or scooping up your veggies. I try not to put it in the dishwasher since that can be rough on the handle but on the occasion it has suffered such a fate it has survived with no discernible damage.

Solid chopper made with pretty, sturdy wood. Like using it for quickly chopping chicken and things of that nature. Works well unless there is a thick skin from pan frying for a while- that’s when it struggles to cut through all the way. You may be able to sharpen it but I haven’t looked into that yet. Other than that it’s great and has other users as well. Mmmmm chicken

I've been using this dough scraper at my job as an artisanal baker for a month. The handle is definitely rosewood, not walnut or bubinga (I'm a hobbyist woodworker as well). The blade is much, much thinner than most dough scrapers, which I was skeptical of at first but have really grown to like, especially when dicing butter.There are 2 reasons I give this scraper a 4 star rating instead of a 5. First is that the blade on mine arrived bent, like it came off the end of the roll of steel that it was stamped from & secondly, the corners are extremely sharp. While I do like a good crisp corner for clean cuts, they are way too sharp & will damage your work surface. A couple light passes on a sharpening stone will blunt them just right.Overall it's a good scraper & has held up in a fast paced professional bakery very well. I would buy it again in a heartbeat.

Easy to use! The handle is wood and nice. Great value and easy to clean. The perfect size and I can use it for pizza or dough.

This is an excellent size, it fits well in my hand, it's the right weight and it's super sturdy and well made. It's made in the USA, which makes it even better. I'm very happy with this and I know I'll have it for decades to come. Well done, Dexter Russell!
