I’ve been using this probe care kit for my pH and conductivity meters, and it makes maintenance so much easier. Instead of buying separate cleaning solutions and calibration packets, everything comes in one box and it saves a lot of time. It includes pH 4.0 and 7.0 calibration solutions, KCl storage solution, EC standard solution, cleaners, cups, and even cleaning tools like the small brush and chamois. The biggest difference I noticed is more consistent readings. Before using proper cleaning and calibration, my pH readings would drift and I’d constantly second-guess them. After cleaning and recalibrating with this kit, readings became faster and much more reliable. I also like that it helps extend the life of the probes, especially pH probes since those can be sensitive if they dry out or aren’t stored correctly. Having the KCl solution included is a big plus because proper storage really matters. Overall, if you use pH and EC meters regularly for hydroponics, gardening, or nutrient mixing, this is one of those maintenance products that’s absolutely worth having. It keeps your readings accurate and saves headaches later.

They include 3 jars, though no lids. The calibration solution comes in envelopes, that are not sealable. You are supposed test every 30 days. You only need a small amount of KCL to keep the probe tip wet. It evaporates quickly. They are making a mint on these chemicals. Not designed for the homeowner, or small operation.

I was using cheap meters in order to get the ph right, and I was always in doubt if the values might be fine or not. This gives you accurate readings, I just submerge the probes, measure and trust what it shows. Probe care kit is a must, calibrate every 1 week, clean every one month. Overall review: "Loved it"

If you use blue lab PPM and PH Pens then you need this cleaning and care kit. The PH Pen especially works better when well maintained.

If you have a ph pen by Bluelab this is an absolute must I went thru my first grow without it and did well, but into my second grow I ordered this kit, My pen was way off and that explained the declining health of my plants. Once cleaned calabrated and prepared for another 30 days My girls showed their approval almost immediately

The Bluelab salinity monitor does not work for seawater. Bluelab kindly accepted my return of the salinity and pHmeter, but this seller providing the care kit does not. I do not think this is acceptable. Think twice before buying, this can happen to you too: I have a care kit for a machine I do not longer own.

This is a more economical way for an occasional user to maintain the Bluelab Combo. If you purchase the regular bottles, it states that you need to use them within 3 months. That is ridiculous considering you only need to recalibrate once a month. This kit has 2 single use packs of everything as well as the cleaning utensils. I only need my Bluelab about 4 months a year so I'll stick with these packs from now on rather than throwing away more than half a bottle of everything at double the price.
