I was using cheap meters in order to get the ph right, and I was always in doubt if the values might be fine or not. This gives you accurate readings, I just submerge the probes, measure and trust what it shows. Probe care kit is a must, calibrate every 1 week, clean every one month. Overall review: "Loved it"

I was a little surprised that the cups had no caps! Hence I had to find another way to keep my standards for later use. Also, I think it would be good to offer the gambit of calibration points. Not only neutral but acidic and alkaline standardized solutions. Still the neutral was important for confidence in using the Blue Lab pen, which is a dream

I never put in for a claim but you still showed me respect by making things right after reading my review you have gained a lifetime customer!

I've been using pH testers for over 15 years. When I first started using one, I went to YouTube to learn how to calibrate it. I looked at several videos and 1 had said to "never touch the electrode" (the glass bulb). Because of that instruction, when a pH tester started to take a long time settle on a reading, I replaced it. When I was using the under $10 cheapies, replacing it was no problem. When I started using a much better meter with replaceable lower ends, the replacement cost way more than the cheapies did. Enough time had passed between when I first had a meter and now, I thought there may be ways to clean them now. One of my pH meters was taking close to 15 minutes to settle on a reading. I cleaned that one as soon as my cleaning kit came in. It now takes less than 5 minutes to settle on a reading. I wish I'd have known about cleaning probes years before I did. I wasted a lot of money on replacing dirty meters.

As a grower of some delicate plants, I can appreciate the accuracy of this pH pen.
