Excellent tripod. It works great with my fully rigged FX3 and feels very sturdy. The included Allen keys on each mounting plate are a thoughtful touch and have been incredibly useful on set. Overall, the build quality is outstanding and exceeded my expectations.

Loving the tripod. Fits my workflow perfectly, seeing as I use both DSLRs and cinema cameras. Great height, great price, and it's very versatile for your video needs. You get a strong tripod with spare parts and tools, adjustable arm length, two base plates... I think I'm set. One thing I will say is that it might not be your cup of tea if you plan to use the tripod for really low shots under, say 3 feet.

My previous tripod was going out. I figured I would try this out. The tripod itself is made with good quality material and does come with tools to adjust it. The mounting fits many different plates and for me (6'2") this is a perfect height. The setup is easy and the locking mechanism does work. The portability is a little lacking with the strap on the bag. I am a bigger individual and I can't put the strap around head. With the strap fully extended, my shoulder just fits.

Great Tripod and great price

This tripod is ultra stable as it should be - given it weighs 9 lbs. 3 section legs range from 37-72 in high. Fluid head makes micro adjustments for scope or camera very smooth and accurate. I can ues this tripod sitting on the ground, in a camp chair, or standing up. Tripod includes plastic clips to keep the legs together when storing it in the carry bag. Carry bag is well built to handle the weight and zippers are HD and smooth. Metal attachment plate is tongue and grooved for secure attachment of your device and has no slop when locked in. Locking arm is also metal. Metal panning arm has adjustable length. Panning handle, tightening allen wrenches, and instructions are hidden in the internal zippered compartment. I use this with a 20-60x80 spotting scope for wildlife viewing. It gives me good stability during wind gusts. 9 lbs is a lot to carry any distance, but the stability and durability make it worth the weight.

I ordered this tripod and it showed up missing the handle for the floating bowl. Amazon took care of it right away and had a replacement on the way in a couple days, so no complaints there. As for the tripod itself, it’s actually a bit better than I expected. The COMAN isn’t exactly pro-level, but it’s definitely not entry-level either. For the price, you’d be hard-pressed to find something with similar build quality and features. Overall, a solid tripod and a great bang for the buck. Should last for years.

It is my first professional tripos and honestly, i am very happy with it. Holds up my little fx30 rig easy and very well. The height is pretty good too. Haven't play too much with the fluid head but so far i can say that it is pretty smooth. Of you have enough money you can buy another one. But this one does the job.

Very pleased with my purchase. I find this tripod is easy to set up. I especially like the quick release and and the easy locking mechanism. I especially feel safe using this tripod with my gear. Price was reasonable.
