Better than digital. For tiny exact measurements.
Cheap and functional. I use these for sizing guitar and bass strings because they're in inches, strangely. I much prefer these old mechanical ones to digital ones. (They can be jumpy and unreliable ). I can tell quickly if my guitar has 009's or 010's on it, etc. You know Exactly. I have a few of these Chinese micrometers, and use them all. They're all essentially the same, and all probably from Amazon. I'll show a picture of one of them in use.

great quality and feels pretty durable. adjustment it nice and smooth my only complaint is zeroing the tool it doesn't line up on all marks.
