Worked well on my Yamaha 700 Grizzly.

Don't buy this one for a 2016 Kodiak 700 I installed this and my quad would start then die 3 seconds later repeatedly did this. I took it in for service they told me I had the wires backwards when hooking up the solenoid. Now I was very careful to replace it exactly as I took it out. Cost me a $120 service bill at Yamaha to tell me that I had hooked the two wires to the wrong poles. Apparently this solenoid has poles that are backwards to an oem one. No telling what kind of damage that could cause.

Description says it works for Grizzly 06-17...untrue. 16-17 use a relay that looks virtually identical but is NOT interchangeable. If you put this in a 16-17 and start, the starter will continuously run until you disconnect the battery (even cutting power and turning the key off WILL NOT stop the starter).

I changed the solenoid , perfect fit and function . 2 days later, about 10 starts on solenoid. the bike is parked outside at hunting camp bike begins to crank over with the key off. luckily we heard it and were able to disconnect battery before starter burned up or battery died. don't know that they are all bad or just the one I got . it looked like an OE solenoid. I would return it but it was only $10

This works but the connections and how they engage the solenoid are backwards from the OEM model. It will work but you just have to turn it 180 degrees from the OEM mounting position.
