I was hesitant at first because it’s quite firm and doesn’t melt the second you touch it the way the many other balms I’ve tried on Grover’s nose and paws before have done. Once you break it up a little and mash it about in the tin with your thumb, it goes on more like a wax but you rub it in and it becomes thick and emollient. Grover has even started to enjoy his nose rubs. There is very little scent at all and it lasts a good long while on the nose. It’s a bit more expensive but it takes less so it’s a good value overall. Definitely does what it says it will.
