Excellent in every way
It arrived 2days earlier than estimated delivery date. It was well packaged and not damaged. The enamelling is perfect with no imperfections. It easily holds 2 loaves, a pack of brioche and croissants as well as some extras, just what we needed. So pleased we invested in this as its design is timeless and would compliment any kitchen. It's cream colour blends perfectly with our Wicks cream kitchen units and it sits on the peninsular. It would fit under cupboards but may be a bit tall to go into a cupboard without adjusting shelves, but why would anyone not keep it on display! All in all I'm glad I took my time researching this type of bread bin,the free postage was also part of the decision process, as a close contender cost over £5 postage which reduced the price difference to £5 so I felt I could purchase my preferred bread bin, rather than compromise. Really pleased with the bread bin, it will last for years to come.

Lovely bin, but a little deep..
This really is beautifully made and holds up to 3 loaves plus some rolls, but on a worktop it's difficult to see inside unless you are six feet tall, so make sure you have space - maybe on the larder floor - or get a small stool so you can peak in.

Brilliant bread bin
I love this - it’s made of heavy, thick enamelled metal, so seems like it will last, and won’t dent/bend easily like thinner metal bread bins do. Huge capacity - ours has a couple of loaves plus muffins/buns/etc and is not stuffed full. And it looks nice - I was happy to find a warm cream colour to match all the other bits in my kitchen. I’m a big fan of Falcon enamel but didn’t know they did things in a cream colour. It’s got a bigger footprint than some of the other bins, but fits nicely on our windowsill.

Good Size
Very pleased with my purchase looks good in my new kitchen. No doubt it will last for years and years being enamel and I can remember my mother having a white one which again we had for years. It is retro in appearance but stylish and holds a good quantity of bread. I read the reviews and the one thing I was really looking for was the size as we like to keep both white and brown bread on the go plus crumpets, rolls etc. I would recommend this attractive item.

Quality
Arrived in good time but the lid was warped and would not sit nicely on the breadbin, no airtight seal and it made the unit look cheap, at £40 its not cheap, I shall return it.

I love enamel products and this is a very attractive
First one arrived badly chipped on the handle, second one arrived with ill fitting lid and wobbly bottom! I love enamel products and this is a very attractive, good quality item however for this price tag I expect perfection.

Bread bin
What's to say about a bread bin?Well, our previous one, (a cheap 'roll top') lasted since 1979.It was looking a bit worse for wear after my better half put it in the dish washer, and it came out with the paint peeling. We decided to 'bin' the bin and get a new one.The new bin is an old fashioned design which has become popular again. We like its larger storage capacity; in which a few loaves can be stored, the solid metal-enameled finish, which will resist corrosion and hard knocks, and we like the cream colour, which matches the kitchen tiles. What I don't like:Lifting and replacing the lid is noisy, and over time, I imagine that the enamel will eventually chip where the lid frequently makes contact with the bin.

A Beautiful Big Bread Bin
I wanted a bread bin for a family that would be large enough to take more than 1 loaf, would be long lasting and would have a timeless appeal that would look good on my worktop. This bread bin met the criteria but would it live up to my expectations? No, it didn't - it EXCEEDED them. It takes 2 loaves, plus your pancakes, scones, etc. Ther are no screws in it to break, it is easy to wipe clean and easy to put bread into and out. So if your looking for a bread bin for a family or someone who just really likes their bread, this is definitely the one to buy.
