Didn't work
My dog has chewed through a few regular dog seat belts so I decided to try this one. It looked like a perfect length but the two snaps were very small and I was worried about the being strong enough to hold my 67 lb German Shepherd Dog. Then I went to try it in my car and the seat belt clip did NOT work in my 2016 Honda CR-V. It looked almost exactly like my previous seat belt clip but just a teeny bit different and it would not lock into place. I was very disappointed. Back to looking for something that will work.

Short and strong
I hook this on to a latch in the back of my MDX with the 3rd row seat folded down. It fits great with the harness and is steel so the dog can't chew through it, nor will it snap easily. It is a short length and the dog can't jump all over the upholstery and ruin my new car. The dog gets her beloved car rides and I get to keep the car seats scratch free!

Broke after two uses
I thought this was going to be great since it was made of what appeared to be a strong cable. It was easy to use and set up and it contained my 60# puppy fairly well. But after only the second use, the excited puppy was able to pull it hard enough to where it broke fairly easily and then he almost jumped out the window of my car to go say hi to the vet tech. He's a puppy, yes, but I was hoping this product would be durable and strong enough to keep him safe in one place but it broke after only two uses and one strong tug.

Came apart
Bought this in Feb 2020,it was working great until today on Oct 14 2020 when I noticed my dog was sticking his head out the car window as I was driving. My dog is 25 pounds, I guess it wasn't crimped to good, it came apart

Secures Harley in back seat while on the road.
My 12 year old rescue Miniature pinscher has more energy than any dog I have owned. If not for this restraint, he would climb back and forth from front to back seat over any object or person. In a crate he cries and cries. This works and still allows him to see where we are going

Good to an extent.
Overall it was pretty decent, but it didn't hold up as nice as I would have liked it to. We have a 4 month old husky that's a bit rambunctious. There's a few times she's tugged and it held on rather well. Our last card ride shengot too excited and pulled to get to the window and the end snapped right out of its fitting. Thankfully the door was shut and window up so she couldn't get out.

NOT FOR A LARGE BREED CHEWER
This is great for my smaller dogs, so I’m definitely giving 5 stars for this useful car restraint. I would not use it on my 85 lb pit boxer mix, as the cable is not that thick. I’m hoping to find a thicker one for my big girl.

Clips too small
It's hard to tell from the product picture, but the spring clip at the one end is TINY. It's so small it wouldn't clip onto the seat anchor in my car. Also my dog broke it the third week in by pulling. I got some normal spring clips from the hardware store and made my own. Chew proofing isn't an issue for me.

Works as it's meant to
I purchased this as another fabric safety belt leash I had purchased was eaten through in a matter of seconds after connecting it to my dog. Thankfully we were at home (before we had left the garage !!! ) otherwise she could have jumped out of the car when I thought she was secured to the seatbelt. She doesn't even try to chew through this one and I've been using these for two dogs for weeks now. Very effective and gives me a sense of security knowing the dogs are secured in the back seat in case I had to stop quickly, etc.

Good Product
Our labrador has a history of destroying furniture and clothing, and although her appetite has outgrown such items, she still is able to chew through a nylon webbing restraint in the car. She does not even try this restraint. It works. It came at a good price and quickly.
