High Quality and looks good
Only used it one time before writing this review, but it is certainly a high quality heater. I liked the one piece mast as most others in this price range are two piece and that is just another point of potential failure. It took a little under an hour to assemble and I think the average person could do it in an hour and a half or so. Not difficult and it has detailed printed instructions included. Satisfied so far with the amount of heat it puts out. My only complaint is that is does not have a handle to lift the cover for the tank which you must do to change out tanks and to turn off the valve at the tank after use. You must grip the cover as you lift it, but be careful around the bottom edge as mine is a bit sharper than I would like. I take it one step further and remove the regulator from the tank when not used so there is zero chance of propane escaping to create a fire hazard. Something to think about. I have mine in a marine environment on a dock and this stainless appears to be a higher grade. We will see how that works over time, but I decided to put a coat of wax on it prior to using it. All stainless can develop rust, so I will keep watch and repost if it begins to show any rust. This is definitely a step up from the standard heaters and based on my limited use, I highly recommend it.

A really solid product - will be purchasing a second one
Now - first things first, Amazon did try and do a little bait and switch on me and wouldn't honor the lower price. That aside, I've been very impressed with this product. Easy installation, about 30ish minutes. This item was a replacement for my old Fire Sense heater which lasted about 12-13 years, with a couple of upgrades, including the Commercial grade reelected - which is what I attached to this new model Fire Sense One Piece Heavy Duty Reflector Upgrade | 38 Inch Thick Aluminum | For Gas and Propane Patio Heaters | No Assembly Required (totally worth it). https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BS9W7FS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I also added the wind reflector - also totally worth it. I live on the water so it can get breezy. SWEET HEAT - Heat Focusing Reflector for Round Natural Gas and Propane Patio Heaters https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B084Q5S77S/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 It fires up instantly and generates a lot of heat. It's nice and heavy duty steel. Couple areas where I'd like to see improvement, hence why it only gets 4 out-of 5 stars. 1 - The selector is the standard one - you get with the lower grade heaters. If this a is Pro/Commercial grade heater why isn't the Commercial, heavy-gauge 1-piece reflector included 2 - The wingnuts for the reflector attachment are a joke. I replace those with stainless steel washers and coupling nuts https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07RTP85RY/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Smartsails 5PCS M8 X 1.25-Pitch 25mm Length 304 Stainless Steel Metric Hex Coupling Nut I'm hoping all the screws and bolts are stainlesss steel and not cheap zinc, otherwise I'll be replacing those. 3 - Biggest issue - there needs to be door access to the fuel tank instead of just having to lift it. I'll be buying a second one in the coming weeks, but I'll need to have the tank cover modified to a door access. All-in-all a good product. 01/19/2021: This is an update of my original review. It's a good product, however, the welds for the pole to the pole base are no fill welds and are very cheaply done. I learned this around 5:30am this morning when a wind storm snapped the pole from it's base. The heater was covered and strapped down. It was a clean break and was easy to tell that welds were of poor quality. This was verified by a professional welder, who is currently repairing, (rewarding) the pole to its base with proper, stronger welds. As this product is advertised as a "Commercial Grade," heater, the welds should be better and stronger. If you're in an area where you have the occasional high winds, it might not be a bad idea to have the welds reinforced by a professional. As of 09/12/2021. As stated above - I ended up purchasing a second for all the reasons mentioned above. My only issue with the manufacturer is that they didn't provide enough hardware to assemble the deck heater. Specifically, nowhere near enough M6 bolts or washers. Fortunately, I had extras to address the issue. Also one of the posts for the reflector was slightly bent, but easily fixed. That said - sloppy QA process from Fire Sense.

Satisfied customer
I have now purchased 4 of this same model, 2 for our lake home and 2 for our home in AZ. Everything you buy that needs to be put together will require time and effort. I found the instructions to be helpful and these were no more difficult to put together than I expected. Perhaps more revealing would be the fact that I did not have to "un-do" something which sometimes happens when you put together something new. I bought my first two in February of this year for our AZ home. One of the starter buttons came broken..."oh-oh" I thought. This will be hard to replace and probably with some hassle. I found the exact opposite. I immediately contact customer service by email over the weekend. Early Monday morning someone contacted me and sent out a replacement part immediately. I was impressed and pleased. The product works very well (my expectation) and looks nice (my wife's expectation). I just bought 2 more for our lake home and primarily due to the excellent customer service that I received. I would state that I put all 4 of these together in probably 4 hours combined. Really not that hard and with only one person.

Great heater!
We bought the Pro version because it is heavier than many others with a solid base (not sand or water filled) so it would last and be less likely to blow over in a strong wind. We also bought the larger, 38' reflector separately to maximize the heat radius and are very glad we did as it is sturdier than the one that comes with the heater and throws off more heat. The heat reflector is easily removed when not in use and then we can throw a cover over the whole unit for protection from strong winds or snow, which is helpful since the unit is heavy enough that we are unlikely to move it to store it during the winter. We have already used it multiple nights to dine outdoors on evenings as it gets cooler and on a "low-to-medium" setting it has easily kept 4 of us comfortable down to 55 degrees (a "high" setting was too warm). Assembly took 2 of us longer than an hour since it was our first time doing it and the instructions were mostly clear (others have mentioned the wheels, for example) but we figured it out without a problem. The unit came in a large box that was quite heavy but it suffered no damage in transit and had no dents. We would buy a second Pro version if it was available.

Terrible and Wonderful-Buy This Already Assembled In A Retail Store
Terrible: 1. Instructions for assembly are terrible and impossible to read because of very poor print. 2. The reflector top was bent from very poor packing and rough handling in shipment. 3. If you can get this thing together in less than two hours, you are a genius, especially considering the instructions are nearly impossible to read. 4. Terrible customer support. Must leave a number and they may call back. I have very little confidence that customer support is going to be easy to work with. Wonderful: A fine product that works well, as advertised, once it is finally assembled and you get parts replacement for bent parts. RECOMMENDATION: Buy this product assembled in one of many national chain stores, at a slightly higher price than Amazon. This will save you the frustration of assembly with lousy instructions.

Far superior to the competition
An excellent value for the cost. It out performs any of the other brands we’ve owned over the years, I’d highly recommend this manufacturer and model. Update after 18 months of use: this heater probably has 400 hours of use now with zero problems. We purchased another unit for another outdoor living space and it has over 200 hours of operation with not one issue. We try to spend most of our time outdoors enjoying the views and wildlife, these units make it comfortable even in winter in the Cascade Mountains while watching it snow. The only thing I would add is a reflector to prevent heat loss if you plan to use it in a corner or only sit on one side. You could save propane that way. Also we only use the larger bottles (30lb), they fit great and do a great job of holding the heater down during windstorms. We highly recommend this unit. If it ever wears out we will buy another, but at this rate it will be years before it needs replacing. 3 year update: unit is still performing flawlessly even after a sudden unexpected windstorm knocked it over. Estimated 600 hours of operation without a hiccup. Don’t bother buying anything else, this baby won’t leave you out in the cold.

Decent heat dissemination in open space
Used on a covered (about 20’ tall) court for morning workouts in Texas. Used in about 40ish degree weather. Disseminates heat decently, maybe 8’ diameter, even in breeze. Now have two so I think will disseminate heat even better. Positives: function and appearance. Negatives: neither had RED ignition button as stated in directions; the knob that controls the flame was not glued on. The fittings were a little wonky but did not require any extra tools and “easily” assembled by one person (but my husband is handy so…).

A very nice heater
Very nice heater and it does put out the heat. After at least 15 years with a patio heater which slowly lost (for whatever reason) effective heat, we decided on this one. I always look for better quality ones, not the cheapest or cheap, so I chose this one. I was surprised how compact the shipping box was, but designed so all components go into a reasonable size box. Like others have said, the instructions have far too tiny of pictures to work with. It took awhile trying to figure out the wheels and bracket but then things got easier after that. It took my 90 minutes and I'm a handyman. The manufacture should redo the instruction manual to have large pictures showing how things go together, and thus fewer words would be needed. Sort of like Apple or Ikea in other words. It fired right up and provides nice heat. It's a fine looking unit. The picture of the control panel is labeled wrong. It shows off is on the left (big flame icon) side, and low on the right (a spot icon). All parts were provided. Mine had a minor dent, and a slight deformation on one of the top pieces, but not really an issue.
