I liked the one piece mast as most others in this price range are two piece and that is just another point of potential failure. It took a little under an hour to assemble and I think the average person could do it in an hour and a half or so. Not difficult and it has detailed printed instructions included. Satisfied so far with the amount of heat it puts out. My only complaint is that is does not have a handle to lift the cover for the tank which you must do to change out tanks and to turn off the valve at the tank after use. You must grip the cover as you lift it, but be careful around the bottom edge as mine is a bit sharper than I would like. I take it one step further and remove the regulator from the tank when not used so there is zero chance of propane escaping to create a fire hazard. Something to think about. I have mine in a marine environment on a dock and this stainless appears to be a higher grade. We will see how that works over time, but I decided to put a coat of wax on it prior to using it. All stainless can develop rust, so I will keep watch and repost if it begins to show any rust. This is definitely a step up from the standard heaters and based on my limited use, I highly recommend it. Review: A really solid product - will be purchasing a second one - Now - first things first, desertcart did try and do a little bait and switch on me and wouldn't honor the lower price. That aside, I've been very impressed with this product. Easy installation, about 30ish minutes. This item was a replacement for my old Fire Sense heater which lasted about 12-13 years, with a couple of upgrades, including the Commercial grade reelected - which is what I attached to this new model Fire Sense One Piece Heavy Duty Reflector Upgrade | 38 Inch Thick Aluminum | For Gas and Propane Patio Heaters | No Assembly Required (totally worth it). https://www.desertcart.com/gp/product/B00BS9W7FS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I also added the wind reflector - also totally worth it. I live on the water so it can get breezy. SWEET HEAT - Heat Focusing Reflector for Round Natural Gas and Propane Patio Heaters https://www.desertcart.com/gp/product/B084Q5S77S/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 It fires up instantly and generates a lot of heat. It's nice and heavy duty steel. Couple areas where I'd like to see improvement, hence why it only gets 4 out-of 5 stars. 1 - The selector is the standard one - you get with the lower grade heaters. If this a is Pro/Commercial grade heater why isn't the Commercial, heavy-gauge 1-piece reflector included 2 - The wingnuts for the reflector attachment are a joke. I replace those with stainless steel washers and coupling nuts https://www.desertcart.com/gp/product/B07RTP85RY/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Smartsails 5PCS M8 X 1.25-Pitch 25mm Length 304 Stainless Steel Metric Hex Coupling Nut I'm hoping all the screws and bolts are stainlesss steel and not cheap zinc, otherwise I'll be replacing those. 3 - Biggest issue - there needs to be door access to the fuel tank instead of just having to lift it. I'll be buying a second one in the coming weeks, but I'll need to have the tank cover modified to a door access. All-in-all a good product. 01/19/2021: This is an update of my original review. It's a good product, however, the welds for the pole to the pole base are no fill welds and are very cheaply done. I learned this around 5:30am this morning when a wind storm snapped the pole from it's base. The heater was covered and strapped down. It was a clean break and was easy to tell that welds were of poor quality. This was verified by a professional welder, who is currently repairing, (rewarding) the pole to its base with proper, stronger welds. As this product is advertised as a "Commercial Grade," heater, the welds should be better and stronger. If you're in an area where you have the occasional high winds, it might not be a bad idea to have the welds reinforced by a professional. As of 09/12/2021. As stated above - I ended up purchasing a second for all the reasons mentioned above. My only issue with the manufacturer is that they didn't provide enough hardware to assemble the deck heater. Specifically, nowhere near enough M6 bolts or washers. Fortunately, I had extras to address the issue. Also one of the posts for the reflector was slightly bent, but easily fixed. That said - sloppy QA process from Fire Sense. ## Features - 🔥 FIRE SENSE PRO SERIES PATIO HEATER: Among the most powerful patio heaters on the market, with an output of an impressive 50,000 BTU's. Everything you buy that needs to be put together will require time and effort. I found the instructions to be helpful and these were no more difficult to put together than I expected. Perhaps more revealing would be the fact that I did not have to "un-do" something which sometimes happens when you put together something new. I bought my first two in February of this year for our AZ home. One of the starter buttons came broken..."oh-oh" I thought. This will be hard to replace and probably with some hassle. I found the exact opposite. I immediately contact customer service by email over the weekend. Early Monday morning someone contacted me and sent out a replacement part immediately. I was impressed and pleased. The product works very well (my expectation) and looks nice (my wife's expectation). I just bought 2 more for our lake home and primarily due to the excellent customer service that I received. I would state that I put all 4 of these together in probably 4 hours combined. Really not that hard and with only one person. ## Frequently Bought Together - Fire Sense 61436 Pro Series Patio Heater with Wheels 50,000 BTU Output Electronic Ignition System Portable Outdoor Propane Heater - Stainless Steel - Fire Sense 02129 Vinyl Cover Full Length Outdoor For Fire Sense LPG Patio Heaters Reflectors Heavy Duty 10 Gauge Felt Lined Waterproof Weather Resistant With Zipper 31"-33" Round Reflectors --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sk/products/7707518-fire-sense-61436-pro-series-patio-heater-with-wheels-50](https://www.desertcart.sk/products/7707518-fire-sense-61436-pro-series-patio-heater-with-wheels-50) --- *Product available on Desertcart Slovakia* *Store origin: SK* *Last updated: 2026-10-26*
