Can you turn off audio and get alert when baby cries? May just be me but I don’t want to listen to the static of my baby’s room while I try to sleep.

I have this baby monitor and yes you can mute the noises so it does not transmit grunts but will alert you when the noise level reaches the threshold you set. I have mine set to three dots and it works great because I can sleep better. I was waking up with every single sound before I found the setting.
