Poor rating is for the wrong product
The product gives a matte finish rather than the advertised clear finish, I had used the product for headlight restoration thinking that it will give a clear finish, but the headlights were made to look frosty and had to re do the process again and use another clear spray from rustoleum itself. Works great - but very stinky
Make sure to use outside, or in a well ventilated space. I made the mistake of using inside, and boy oh boy, the smell was so strong, and lasted for days.

Best clear coat in the market

Not usefull for my car lights.
Though it says clear coat, it is not. I ordered this to use for my car lights as it has a UV protection. However, the light became fog when i use it as a cleat coat. So do not ordet to apply for see through goods if you wants to keep the clear visibility.
