This was easy to install, just took apart the umbrella and replaced the broken cord with this one. The price is adequate for the quality of it. It works just as good as the original cord. The thickness is good, it feels just slightly thicker but not by much, didn’t have any problems getting it through anything.

This cord is thicker than the one that came with my umbrella. Worked as expected. Good quality and plenty of length.....

Watched a you-tube on how to replace the cord line for my style of umbrella. It took about an hour and some thought as how to run the line. Make sure the hole in the hand crank will accommodate the new cord. I had to slightly enlarge the hole with a larger drill to fit the cord.

I used this to repair the cord in my broken crank patio umbrella. The cord was strong and just the right diameter to fit easily through the crank handle. After the repair I had about half of the 20' left over so I have enough for another repair later.

I bought this to restring my patio umbrella and was able to successfully do so. My umbrella is a relatively cheap umbrella so I had to pry it apart a bit whereas the nicer ones are meant to be serviced and have bolts and nuts allowing them to be disassembled easily. In the end I was able to get my umbrella pried apart and get this new line installed and it works exactly as it should. This is enough line to replace the line in my umbrella twice.

I really don't know what happened but the orange one that I bought before fits perfect this one is kind of short umbrella doesn't open all the way as you can see on the picture I have to use a cord to cover the space while the other canopy is here

Our old patio umbrella rope finally broke after years of winding. Given the cost of new umbrellas, the hassle of replacing the rope was worth it. The rope will likely outlive the fabric of the umbrella.
