Very good work around alternative for a MACRO lens
Its worth if you have patience and want a frugal alternative of MACRO lens... Frugal because its way less costly than a proper MACRO lens and You need patience because due to narrow DOF (at higher zoom) and moving subject, you have to take multiple shots to get satisfactory Image. Offcourse you will need a Tripod and an ample light source (in order to widen the DOF, we need to shorten the aperture size thus we need pretty good amount of light, but that holds true for a macro lens too) My Observation : I used this snap on Lens on my 50mm prime and 18-135mm all in one lens. With 50mm it worked well but didn't get much magnification so I used extension tubes. 7mm extension tube + 50mm + Tripod + Good Light + static object = nice results With 18-135 mm, @135 I observed some vignetting as the lens thread is 67mm (wider than 50mm lens), I think It should work well with any P&S ultra zoom camera and any DSLR lens having 150+ focal length. Lens is good in the terms of use and optical quality, easy to clip on my 52 mm and 67 mm lenses. Pros- 1. Easy to use 2. Nice optical quality Cons- 1. Vignetting at small focal length. Ideal for 150+ zoom lenses

I am Loving it
Thank you for letting me venture into the world of macro photography. Thi product is amazing, no wonder i can see so mamy photographers use it. It fits on lenses with filter size ranging from 52mm till 67mm, which covers almost all my lenses, especially on 85mm and 55-300mm thar i have is giving amazing reach. You can reduce min focal distance of all lenses considerably also the image is further zoomed in. So with 300mm i am able to get close as well as get an effevtive focal length of 300mm x 1.5 crop factor of my body x may be 2.5x zoom by Raynox, incredible. One thing I obserbed while using with 18-140 Nikon is that there is heavy vignetting but there is a trick to reduce it, take the focus to manual and get it to infinity, it will still focus close but you can move yourself back from the subject a bit to get it in focus but without the circular vignetting. Also there are significant colour fringing observable at highlighted area but that is ok, i am getting what i payed for. Autofocus works accurately even at low aparture no issues there, but macro is easier I guess focussing manyally and moving yourself to get intended focus. Overal am overjoyed with the purchase. Amazon packing and delivery is good, delivery has become even faster these days during Covid lockdown. Amazing guys kudos to you all

Most affordable macro lens solution possible
The product is quite simple to use. Just attach it on the front end of any compatible sized lens. I have tried it on a Canon 18-55 and 55-250 lens. Works well with both. The magnification is very strong, and sharp. The depth of field is very narrow. Might have to work around the aperture on the camera to take in more of the subject. All in all, this is the best macro option possible for such a low price.

Good quality, but overprised
Good piece of glass, pictures are OK. But the problem is with focussing. You need go forward or backwards to get focus, even manual settings won't work. 2nd thing is you need to switch to live view, else it starts hurting your eyes after 1 or 2 min with viewfinder. (Tbh, it's difficult to find the subject with viewfinder. 3rd, Overpriced, pricing should be below 5k. Finally 4 stars for build and picture quality.

Works, but too clumsy to protect and install in lenses
Works, but too clumsy to protect and install in lenses. I gave up after a few days. The whole process of detaching it from protectors and then applying to camera lens is too much work for me. Good if you are ONLY doing macro work, but if you want flexibility, stay away from this.

Best substitute for a macro lens!
If you use it the right way, it will deliver some really amazing results. An economical alternative to expensive macro lenses, Raynox 250 is easy to use and produces top-notch quality photos.
