**Q: Would this test work for 2 adults a male and a female that live in diferent states?**
A: I'm assuming you're talking about a possible father and an adult possible daughter? Yes, you can use this kit for that. Whoever receives the kit shipment will just need to drop the other participant's testing materials and barcoded sample envelope into the mail and send it to that other participant. Each party does their own DNA samples and sends them in to the lab where they are reunited for testing. If you have any questions during the process, you can call the customer service number on the kit box. Hope this helps!

**Q: My tracking hasn’t said my kit has reached the testing facility after 2 weeks. Should I call the facility?**
A: My kit reached the facility in 3 days but didn't get to a tech for 2 weeks. I would call the facility to see if it got lost.

**Q: Do you just need the child and fathers dna? Not the mothers?**
A: Yes. Although the mother's DNA can help strengthen results under certain circumstances, it is usually not required. Should it turn out to be needed, the lab will suspend testing and ask for the mother's samples. We'll then include her in the test at no extra charge.

**Q: Is the test still valid if the swab was done few weeks before? I mean if the mailing of the test take two weeks, is the DNA test still valid?**
A: Yes.  Untested samples are good for an extended period of time.

I am extremely disappointed with this DNA test kit. After purchasing it, we spent months trying to register the kit, only to repeatedly receive errors. When we finally contacted customer support, we were told the registration code had already been used and was apparently linked to someone else’s account. This means the kit we paid for was completely unusable through no fault of our own. Since the package had already been opened while trying to complete the registration process, we were left with an expensive product that could not be used. Customer service offered no real solution or accountability for the issue, despite this clearly appearing to be a problem with the kit or its registration system. If registration codes can already be assigned to someone else, there needs to be a better process to protect customers from receiving unusable kits. I would strongly recommend buying directly from a different manufacturer or a trusted source, or at the very least confirming the company’s policy before purchasing. Based on my experience, this was a frustrating waste of both time and money.
